Problem downloading

Can not use SA on iPad Air with IOS 8, bought via Apple store. Reinstalling doesn't help, and even older version and free version are not accessible. Help?

Unscientific, Opinionated, Waste of Time

Scroll through the latest news to find nothing but shallow and biased left-wing opinion articles. Boring.

Great job!

Best written, most important topics of any science magazine

I get 5 science magazines, plus look at others online. Sci am has had by far the best, and often only coverage of the new $2 trillion nuclear bomb program, nuclear waste, and covered the many existential threats in addition to climate change which gets far too much attention in this polycrisis

SCIAM continues to provide a wealth of scientific literature

This journal has always been known as a compendium of current and historical scientific news. It is readable by anyone with STEM education and covers a wide variety of topics.

It’s fine

I mean it’s a run-of-the-mill news app. Nothing special. I just wish that they would adopt the policy of everyone else and have a dark mode rather than trying to burn our retinas out.

Im not left or right leaning but the amount of leftist propaganda is too much for me. “Scientist” saying there’s not just two genders is what did it for me.

Need to rename app

I grew up reading SA. It influenced my choice in careers. Now, maybe 1 out of every 10 articles is actual science and not propaganda. Do not subscribe.
