Ok, but has some problems
Most of the time the first word of the verses and sometimes even the second one is skipped. This is very irritating.

Best Bible App Ever
Love all the features it offers, very interactive. Love the speed control feature for the spoken word the most.
Bugs
Updated review 1/14/2024: The chronological reading plan is bugged. First, it has no option to repeat on a loop. But after it finishes the whole Bible, if you click the little button that looks like an circle arrow, it restarts the reading plan back to genesis 1:1, and then the app immediately crashes. Then, when you restart the app, it immediately crashes again. You can never open the app ever again, unless you fully reinstall. So there’s no way to repeat the chronological reading plan. Second bug is with yet another paid feature.. the “repeat” feature, which is a paid subscription. If you set it to repeat the whole Bible, it only repeats ONCE. Then, you still have to manually click play again, to make it go again. You can tell that the company that owns and makes this Bible app does not actually use this app. Otherwise, they would have noticed these glaring bugs.
audio now useless
The first word or two of every verse can’t be heard. it’s as if some fade in functionality got broken. Now it is impossible to listen to Scourby read the Bible as his legacy copyright holders spend more effort chasing down copyright violators than actually providing his voice to another generation. Very sad
Filthy Lucre over God’s Word
I purchased this app 15 years ago for $20, which was ridiculously high at the time but thought it was worth it to have all the features and support the app . One of the first apps I ever purchased. Now all the features I paid for are not available, and I have to subscribe to have them. Not happening. The devs are greedy of filthy lucre apparently.
Charged twice
I purchased this app years ago. After updating my phone, they want $30 PER YEAR to unlock basic features (looping, speed, etc.) I feel betrayed.
Missing scripture!
Many times, as I'm listening to Scourby read, and I'm trying to read along to my dismay I find out the app does not have all of the verses in it. It's missing end of verses. The people collecting all the money for this thing ought spend the money doing something better than paying people to charge more for every little thing inside the app one free give us the app put all the Bible in there. The audio is not ready every word.
Need bug fixed please
Been a user for years. Want to keep using it. A bug that truncates the verse endings makes it unusable for me. I hope it is fixed soon. IOS 17.6.1 Scourby 5.9.6
Bought the full version now they switched to a subscription model and stuck it to me
What a disgusting business practice! Dare I say from a company selling an audio app of The Holy Bible! They have every right to change the model, but had no right to not grandfather those who paid for it outright . Shame on this crummy company!!!
Great App But I Feel I Was Ripped Off
I’ve had this app for years and originally paid $25 or $20 for what Was a lifetime purchase. This was it before a $25 purchase was common. At some point an update removed features like the timer, that I used to use regularly. And now it is a subscription for $31 a year. I feel ripped off because I was not aware if any if the changes.
