Great app to be honest I would of been lost without it pun intended . I’ve no data on my phone here so great from that side and most of the stuff on the road isn’t signposted so it tells you literally as you pull up to each sight . Also some nice history about the area and Hawaii . Worth the few quid . Just be aware it won’t give you directions from the end of the tour back to you hotel so remember that on the way out
Users: Honeymoon couple Purpose: Bucket List By far the most amazing app we ever used. Very user friendly- we downloaded the guide on WIFI and used it offline. The guide brought us on the most memorable trip of a lifetime. From the tips and tricks on certain spots (parking too) while assuring the best use of our time. The music and history stories on the way back to Hana was so informative and relaxing. Really should get an award!! Sterling guidance
Loved the guide, soooo good. There is no service on the Road to Hana so the fact that you can download this guide is essential. It triggers information based at GPS points which is brilliant period the guide was fun and informative and points out which attractions to go to along the way and which ones were good for families / couples / etc. Plus on the way back it helps to distract us from all the turns with the fun stories. We met a couple along the way they did not have the app and seemed very lost in that they couldn’t pick which attractions or find a good place as this app is 100 percent essential and so amusing great job Shaka!!! Ahola, hang loose!!!!
Used this app while visiting Maui and drove the road to Hana. Definitely worth it!!
Did road to hana and west Maui tour, would have missed some great stops on both without the app! Had some issues with the app disconnecting from CarPlay after every few stops on the RTH tour, could have been a CarPlay issue and not an app issue though, since it was a rental car. Would still recommend!
We used this for our Maui trip and did the tour for the reverse road to Hana, the national park, and to drive around the island in general. Having grown up on Oahu I knew some of the history but hearing it told where it happened and been more in depth was amazing. Add in the perfect GPS coordinated directions and food recipes and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Mahalo!
What a great app, it tells you all the history and guides you through the best spots. It’s so worth it you cannot take the road to Hana without this app.
So glad we learned about this app. I feel we would have missed a lot of cool stops in the Road to Hana. One that I would not recommend it the West Maui Coastline. Not too exciting. They did warn us about the narrow roads but it was another level narrow! So much anxiety.
Used this app to tour the Road to Hana, and wow! This app made the 10 hour experience fun, and enjoyable for our entire family! I really liked the historical stories the app played for us through the long journey home. Will recommend!
The tour guide never gave his name that we heard so we named him Brad. Brad was awesome about giving us information and helping us with time checks. I definitely think it was worth the money! Thanks Brad!
