Shapr 3D CAD modeling

I want to be a builder when I grow up but now it kinda feels that you don’t want me to follow my dreams 😢

You can create anything you want no matter how complex and if you get stuck there is always tons of tutorials that are detailed and show you everything step by step. Also if you are still stuck there is tons of online support with whole communities and quick google searches able to tell you all the information you need for a site creativity can thrive.

The software seems very strong thus far, and I very much intend to use it further, hopefully on my best math, physics, design, and engineering projects yet!

This is a terrible and unintuitive app. Apple Pencil support is terrible, and for some reason I can’t see any tutorials since my 3rd party Zagg Stylus Pro doesn’t register too well. I would go back to tinkercad, but it can’t do concave things.

If it had a hobby or personal use it would be perfect - if they just drop the price by %50 they would more than double user base - it’s amazing what this thing can do on a iPad

The app is very amazing and works completely fine I just struggled with learning how to use it an found a lot of the tutorials confusing but the app itself is good.

Hard to learn if your new

I’ve been using this app for years and seen it grow from a starter app to something pretty solid. It started as an iPad app, but they don’t support the Apple Pencil Pro gestures. It is an app for professional users and they are seemingly not interested in catering to hobby users.

I was super excited to try this app because I have really been wanting to get into 3d modeling but I wasn’t able to do anything because my pencil isn’t Apple brand and doesn’t “connect” to my iPad. Maybe I just couldn’t figure out a way around but when I tried to select the do it later option it wouldn’t let me leave without connecting something.

1 love how my review keeps getting removed so questioning their 4.7, 2 limited import options, 3 can’t easily start sketching on a face without it arbitrarily drawing on another face, 4 can’t easily take an object/copy it from one project to another, 5 no freehand sketch. The best of no real iPad options
