I never even imagined there was custom, 1:1 ADHD coaching until I discovered Shimmer! It’s been so life changing to have access to my coach and not feel as alone. I hope everyone gets a chance to try Shimmer and having support like this in their life. I’m so grateful it exists!!

I love how this app is designed and I finally have a to-do list that is aesthetically-pleasing! They have thoughtfully designed this with regular feedback (they even reached out to ask me about my onboarding process and thoughts on the app), and I love using this to keep track of my personal goals. I’m so productive at work yet in my personal life feel disorganized. Meeting with an ADHD coach weekly who sees and celebrates my small wins has been empowering, and even if I didn’t do a very good job of completing tasks I set out to do it is helpful to adjust my tasks/goals based on what is relevant and motivating for me.

Seriously happy with this app, my coach and what I’ve accomplished so far in a short amount of time!

I’m honestly shocked this app doesn’t have more reviews yet. This is the hidden gem of ADHD apps right now, like Coffee Meets bagel is for online dating. I discovered this by asking chatGPT what was the best ADHD coaching I could get in the US right now. You can tell that the creator had a clear, modern vision toward the experience using her own experiences with ADHD to create a helpful product that drives intention, clarity and focus. The result is an experience superior over having to waste time finding, scheduling and getting intros with countless independent ADHD coaches that are frankly overpriced, package pushers before proving their worth, and lack modern tech like this to track progress. This is finally what the ADHD community deserves, affordable and accessible live coaching for the middle class.

Don’t get me wrong, I love shimmer and my ADHD coach. But the app is still buggy and keeps freezing every time I checkmark a task even though I got a message a few weeks back saying the bugs were fixed. 🤨 It’s gotten to the point where it’s a pain in the keester just to use this app.

To the developers - And so are ineffective ways of blocking app usage… I wanted to message my coach, but I cant oh wait… in landscape i can get by the wallpaper thing and awkwardly type something. Why do you do this??? Why can’t your app auto update when I’m not using the phone and not force me to update when i actually need something?? I almost missed an appointment with my coach because of this —- This is nothing about your service - but the phone app… no

What a difference this platform has made in my life! I’ve been using the services for 2 months now and it’s definitely something I will make room in my budget for. The benefits are so worth it! It’s the platform that all ADHD people have been needing for a long time. User friendly application for mobile with continued improvements all the time.

My coach is so helpful and informed - it’s been so good for me to have Shimmer as a resource as a mom of 3 teens. You can really tell that the team at Shimmer cares about the work that they’re doing on every level. The app is easy to use, engaging, and filled with lots of lessons and insights. My coach helps me with goal-setting, prioritizing, and overall it’s been so helpful to just talk to someone who gets it.
