Shot Scope

We recently we through a course renovation and unfortunately Google Maps has not updated during that time. Shot Scope support was able to take a recent map from a more up to date sat image and code the course. Their responsiveness to customers is second to none. I’ve engaged with other providers of GPS range systems and they do not reply or even support your requests. Thanks for the support Shot Scope. Customer for life. Tell Google they need to lift their game. Cheers

The app has a lot of good stats you can get from the app but the are a couple of areas where it could definitely be improved. The post round editing feature is very clunky & way too fiddly. The other annoying point is the benchmark comparison resets to tour pro every time you close the app.

The stats you get are excellent. But the main use I have found was to use the playing distance to see the gapping between the clubs. It picked up issues between GW and PW and 6 & 5 hybrid. Excellent software and system. It is easy to use, you only have to click near the pin so your chipping and putting stat distances are true on the day. Only gripe is that the software won’t rotate to landscape which is a bit off a pain on the iPad.

Great app and facility for tracking your golf performance

This app is so buggy it’s a disgrace. I’m seriously thinking of moving to arccos I can’t stand it any more

How do I get the app onto my Apple Watch? I’ve tried everything but not showing?

I have used Shotscope since the V2. I am now using the x5. Since the last update On the watch and app I have to forget the watch in Bluetooth settings and repair to sync. Every time. Now today even after restarting the watch and the iPhone when I try to reconnect the watch the app crashes. Totally unusable at present.

In a constant loop of deleting app, connecting to watch and app asking to update firmware and the. Sits at 0% with spinning wheels. Not the first time, great when it works too many glitches

Don't buy this watch awful

Constant improvement in functionality but could still be better. The app cannot handle stableford scoring. The additional club tags has been reduced for the current generation product to just X1 and X2. Many golfers manage their bag club selection based on the course they are playing. This means that on occasions the bag may contain more wedges for shorter courses or additional longer and hybrid clubs for longer courses. Having to swap club tags for such club changes is a bind and it messes up actual club data. I personally would like to see the X3 and X4 tags being made available again with possibly a couple of additions. The app gets better with each update and provides a lot of review information to help analyse your individual club data and overall ability.
