The app works for me. Kept up to date via Emails. I’m happy my money is being looked after by Skipton Building Society.

Generally the app is good. However, it has a very serious bug. For an unknown and unexplained reason - and seemingly unfixable reason - the app automatically resets itself to factory default. As a result, the app must be reconfigure from scratch, and the secure passcode device deleted and reconfigured. This has happened multiple times across 3 versions of iPhones (14,15,16), across multiple versions of iOS, and across multiple versions of the app. At least 10 other financial apps using the same 3 iPhones, the same multiple iOS versions, and multiple versions of the respective app, have NEVER once exhibited this behave. The common denominator to this failing is the Skiption app. Skipton are aware of this serious bug and have confirmed that other users have report the same failing. And yet, Skipton has abjectly failed to fix it in over a year.

App credentials don’t last long, access is denied as you have to re enter personal information, log onto the website, remove devices…yawn!

Where can I find the sort code and account number to which I can send money?

My 1 Year Bond matured 11/12/24 and as of 16.00 on 14/12/24 I am still waiting for the Funds?

The app is effective as most apps are. However the customer service at Skipton is outstanding: My most recent experience with them just reinforced this. Meagan was extremely helpful but more so she is highly competent and that makes a massive difference. Thank you so much for all your help.

I am appalled at the amount of times I have been unable to add a nominated account for my own money. I have had a difficult period in hospital and really needed my £800 for medical fees but I was unable to add a nominated account. I have today spoke. To Tolu who was also unable to add a nominated account but did not why? I would like to know why as this had caused me mentally to explode and my anxiety is suffering. I have uploaded a system t and I have signed docusign but I would like to know WHY this has happened it really is poor service . I really need an answer. I have troubled my family to lend me some money which I really did not want t to do. I have lodged a complaint with Tolu who I called today at 13.39 from my mobile so I would also like reimbursing for my 34 minute phone call, too and expect a call and a letter why this has happened

I am now being charged for a statement of interest needed for my annual accounts but I would not need one if the amount of interest taken from each monthly payment was visible like it used to be before only apps. Not happy

Everytime I log in it keeps asking me to register again when I get so far it says I have reached my device limit however it’s the same device as before I have now deleted the app, seem to go backwards with this society rather than forward
