Tried to transfere my money to another bank. But you said I haven’t got a nominated bank, but it wouldn’t let me put one in !!!

The onerous security is poorly focussed. Just getting logged in for the first time is ridiculously complicated. I need to be able to use the app on different devices. Without that ability it is useless.

Every so often after an update, the app says it needs to be registered again. This is ridiculous and very frustrating as it then says I’ve reached the maximum device number and so I need to log onto online banking, remove this (despite it being registered to the same iPhone) and then re-add. This is very frustrating and has happened multiple times in the past few months.

I have found this app to be so easy to use, all information is there at a finger tip. Makes any transaction quick to do in our busy life. Definitely recommend. 🤩5 star ⭐️

The app booted me out of my account today because I reached the device limit. I logged in to the Skipton website and eventually found the required page. It turned out I only had 2 registered devices so it made no sense I had to delete one of them to use the app. The app should allow users to have more than one registered device without having to jump through hoops.

The app is good for tracking your mortgage statements and your outstanding balance on your mortgage. However it lacks an important feature that is available on other lenders apps. This app does not allow you to make over payments on your mortgage. For the past 4 years when you press the option to make a payment it comes up with an error message saying this feature is been worked on. How long does it take to add a basic feature. Very poor!

I had to add an account to pay the maturity into… First of all I was told I had too many mobile devices (I just have phone and tablet) and when I used my devices in a different order to get past this issue, I then had problems with the password or security number generated… never managed to get it work… it doesn’t tell you what the issue is and you can’t see the password (which I am very confident was correct on 5 attempts).. there was no problem using my password to log on to the app.

Seems there is a glitch that is known about where devices don’t get recognised, or the system only allows one device, or something like that. The customer technical support is great, it’s fixed quickly and easily with one call and all gets back to normal. Have seen a lot of comments in the Apple Store, can only recommend to keep persisting and phone the support. Would also recommend only ever using one device, seems that should minimise the risk of a problem. Possibly not a perfect solution, but got to do our best, right!?
