The screensaver functionality should not require a membership- like the Aura. It would also be helpful if the screensaver could be scheduled so it's not on during the morning and evening routine. Ultimately, works like a paper calendar unless you pay for the subscription.

The app is very clunky and unintuitive for older generations that do not know how to operate this UX. Upload speeds are unusably slow and often fail. Please update!

the Skylight device is full featured, but in order to access the greedy company requires the device owner must pay $40 every year. Blatant profiteering. Why not let buyers have full access to all the built in features without gouging for more $$?

We like the calendar and the app is the most helpful - the only thing that is annoying is that it’s hard to edit in the lists. If you have a typo you have to delete the entire word instead of being able to move your cursor. Also wish it would send you notifications for your chores. Would be cool if there was a budgeting tool in the app. Overall is helpful for our family.

I have spent 30 min selecting and trying to add photos only to be met with an error. No app I have has this issue. This could maybe use a tweak since it's the entire point. Worried this will end up with all the other junk in the basement due to lack of ease uploading photos in 2024.

My daughter gave this device for Christmas two years ago. I’ve been trying to continue the subscription but I’m going in circles. Add fricking payment information on account site for god sake.

I would have given this app 5 stars before this new update but now it’s almost unusable. I used the list option more than anything else but now, I am ready to throw the whole thing out with the trash. Do you all not test the usability before pushing these updates out? What you had before was perfect and didn’t need to be messed with. Seriously, PUT IT BACK the way it was because I can’t use this in any efficient way. If you’re considering spending your money on this, don’t until they fix the app issues.

This update is awful. Everything on the app is extremely slow. Prior to this update you could add or edit your entire list in a few seconds. After the update, it took the app about ten seconds to add one item to my grocery list. They already got my money so I’m sure it won’t matter, but if this isn’t improved/fixed/reverted, I won’t be using skylight, nor will I recommend it to anyone again. I used to love it, but it’s no longer a convenience. Pen and paper would be more efficient than the current build of the app.

The new update is clunky, not user friendly, poorly designed and the app is slow. Go back to the old one.

The newest update is so slow that the app is almost unusable. We use the Lists feature all the time and it is taking 30 sec - 1 min to load every single list item.
