I really want to love this app. I purchased 4 RM75, expecting that I can control them simultaneously… but there’s no such option… is it my problem? - The app quits itself multiple time on my first use… - Whenever I enter the setting of the light, the previous setting doesn’t stay… - when I switch from one light to the other, it jumps to the setting of the first light… how can I make separate adjustments like this… - The RGB graph also does not accurately represent the light coming out of the light… I feel like I don’t have the app option at all… it’s quite unusable in professional setting There’s so much work to be done on this app… I kinda regret not getting the Aputure MC… I’m giving 2 stars instead of one because I don’t want SmallRig to stop developing the app. The physical lights are fine. Maybe just need some work on the app.

This app does not connect to the RC220B light no matter how many times I go through their troubleshooting and “how to” steps. IOS does not see the device via Bluetooth. I can only surmise the RC220B is not transmitting therefore cannot be seen. I purchased the light thinking I could circumvent using manual methods but it turns out the product and app are advertised falsely.

Crashes no matter what you do. Worthless.

The app crashes CONSTANTLY. It fails to add lights to the UI, even though it says the connection succeeded. Half of the app (and all the error messages) aren’t in English. It’s like the SmallRig CEO had his 10 year-old nephew write this. It’s GODAWFUL. It certainly never should have shipped and I’ve reported it to Apple to have it removed from the App Store entirely because there’s absolutely NO way this garbage could pass App Review. Get yourself a ladder instead of bothering with this festering pile of junk.

Crashes half the time I use it. Godox makes great lights, but this app ruins the experience of using them. Get a better app!!!!

The app would be fine with one light. I have two lights... Every time I adjust the color on one the other one follows. They are not bound together, but the app thinks they are. No way I can see to fix. I tried deleting and reconnecting.. Same thing.

I had no problem connecting my SmallRig 120D. However, I can only turn it on and off with the app. The moment I try to adjust intensity, it crashes. C’mon SmallRig! The light is an awesome product. Now, please fix your broken app!

Bad app should have stuck with aperture

I don’t normally write reviews but this app is basically unusable for me. First off, I couldn’t even make an account. I got the confirmation code to my email but after loading forever it says “code timed out.” This happened all four times I tried it. So I am forced to use the app in guest mode only. Surprisingly, I was able to connect to my RC 120B in the app, however, I am only able to turn it off and on, nothing else. This is because everytime I try to open the control for the light the app gets stuck on the loading screen literally forever until I close the app. So in my personal experience, this app is reduced to be only usable as a virtual on/off switch.

App will connect to the lights but if you do anything in the app except turn it in it off the app closes and is a guess if it will connect again without having to removed and reconnect.
