Won’t let me in unless I sign up for a free trial!! Been with them so long. Money always takes over!
This was a convenient app to pop into every now and then to see how many days sober I was, but went to check today to find it now subscription based with a free trial making the claim that it unlocks all the features, but there is no option to say no I’ll just use the basic free features will be deleting the app and looking for something free, charging £13 pound a month just to keep track of something you can work out with a calendar and a calculator it is scandalous, especially when being used by people who are likely to be in a vulnerable place
Hi I am 568 days sober and I love the tracker. I use the free tracker but this morning when I logged in it sent me to a free trial and I couldn’t get to the tracker. What’s happened?
I would have loved to have known this was going to charge before I put details in ‼️‼️ I will now be deleting it very dissatisfied
This app first asks for your personal details like full name and your email address to create an account only to tell you afterwards that this is a paid app! Any company using questionable techniques like this should be banned. How do I get my data deleted???
It’s awful ! Half the screen at the bottom is blank ??? It asks you to put your journal and challenges in and when you do - it won’t move past the screen on to the next section ! They basically want you to subscribe to their app to get the full advantage but considering this is to help coach people into being sober , you would like to think it would be a bit more useful to use for free at first at least ! People who are getting sober are climbing their way out of hell/ a dark place and are most likely catching up with their finances ( shall we say ) If this was a good app to start with and worked for me , I’d happily subscribe for the extras ! Again I’m very disappointed as I follow you on Instagram and read all the success stories and it inspires me ! Just a shame your app doesn’t !
It would be useful if they informed you of pricing before signing up and sharing your email to then not have access to any of their features other than a pointless 7 day free trial. I’d imagine most people wanting support to quit alcohol don’t just want to quit for seven days... Seems a little data gathering unfortunately. I was looking for an app to share with clients however this will not be it at the moment and sadly unable to see what the app actually can provide because I don’t want to sign up for the free trial. It could be brilliant for all I know but there aren’t enough features available for the truly free version for me to judge before committing to sharing any further financial or personal details.
Disappointed! Was looking forward to this app as I enjoy my daily emails. Thought it would be free! Not willing to pay £9.99 per month after just 1 weeks free trial. Come on Sober Buddy!!😩
Says free. Been using it as a tracker for years now it wants a subscription. Most people I’ve encountered that are trying to change their lives don’t have a ton of spare money. They are just praying on people in their time of need.
I used this years ago, decided to try again to stay sober but now we need subscription… Looking for diff app now.
