The Apple Watch app does not read your heart rate from the apple watch, making it so you cannot use Apple Watch for heart monitoring functions of your sole cardio machine, which kind of defeats to point of buying any Sole cardio machines for apple users.

This app doesn’t integrate with Apple Health or Fitness. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, allowed access only to have the app not record any of the data. The watch app is equally as useless as a heart rate monitor as it only works intermittently. I was hoping the latest update would fix the issues, but no luck. What would be helpful is to be able to connect the Apple watch directly to the F85 treadmill and record the workouts that way.

My family recently got a brand new Sole treadmill. I love it, and especially love that training programs are included in the purchase instead of being locked behind a subscription service. The programs are well done, motivating, and build on each other very well. But here’s the thing. I got the treadmill for my family. My kids are getting interested in running like their dad. And even though this app is rated 4+, it’s anything but family friendly. Every single workout I have encountered (6 total so far) has been profanity-laced, anything from the so-called “minor swears,” up to and including the F-bomb. Repeatedly. Things that would be age restricted on the most simple of YouTube filters are freely available for all to see and hear (via closed captioning, where it’s all spelled out correctly) on this app, regardless of the user’s age. I’d rather the company create training programs that continue to motivate everyone in my family without being so foul, but short of that, can you at least adjust the age rating to its proper position?

Difficult to set up and will not record heart rate. In addition, although there is a message saying it will not record the same as the despite on the unit, this is absolutely ridiculous.

After the latest update, Apple Watch does not connect to the app to show heart rate. It forces to confirm privacy choices every time I open the app.

APP works but with some major annoyances. 1) I get duplicate works in my history that also transfer to my Apple fitness app. Sometimes 3-4 at a time. This causes me to go into both the Sole App and Apple fitness to delete them. I did find that it correctly gives the one workout entry until you hit “end workout and save” on the app … then the duplicates appear. 2) I saw an app update that was supposed to fix an issue with Apple Watch HR. However the connection still seems unstable. It’s consistently displayed on my Apple Watch through the Sole Apple Watch app but sometimes very intermittently displayed on the machine and iPhone app. Bringing my watch up to my face seems to cause some type of wake function because it then will properly display for a few moments. Interestingly enough I did have one workout where it worked flawlessly. 3) My intention is always to jump on the treadmill (F85) and start running. The app seems to be heavily focused on selling classes. I really wish there were less steps to connect to my machine in the app and start running. Right now it feels unintuitive and buried in the Bluetooth configuration page. Dev Note (not part of the review) I’m assuming it’s a different team that works on the machine OS but if you could pass on that having the screen mirroring only take you half the screen — the panel that already advertises the mirroring capabilities. That would be super cool. I keep getting locked into full screen mode with no escape. The floating panel with the back button disappears. The only way I found to escape this is to unplug the machine.

I just downloaded this app for use with my F65 treadmill…HOWEVER, I READ BOTH THE TERMS OF USE AND THE PRIVACY POLICY…..this company is run out of Taiwan….by signing up to use this app you commit to them having access to almost your entire life: PLEASE READ IT BEFORE YOU COMPLETE YOUR ACCOUNT. It states you agree to them having your financial records, including bank account number and credit card information…DID YOU READ THAT???? BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION…..why would they need that??? This is a free app. It is used in conjunction with Sole exercise equipment. I suggest everyone email Sole and let them know this is an unacceptable practice. I am deleting this app. I suggest (retired attorney here) everyone follow suit and delete this app.

The apps reports data inconsistently to health app, on the treadmill a run or walk sometimes is reported as other. Also, the workout is posted twice to health app. This is very inconsistent and hard to figure out how to use properly. Very disappointed

Your hr monitor on your watch disconnects every 30 seconds, (unusable). After completing a workout if you don’t x and click save workout it literally just deletes it…? Bad developers. They cheaped out and that’s why these things are on sale. If you want tracking (why I bought this) use another company.
