The most contrived annoying on-boarding yet…

Who told these people that it was a good idea to add an unskippable cinematic as the first step? I’ve been in this app for over 2:30 minutes and I’m neither 1) being serviced, 2) buying stuff. Please, please, please, make the first part skippable. Second, you don’t get to try the full experience on a free trial, you need to pay 200$ for that. What you get is a robotic voice and a bunch of empty promises. I’d wait until any of the big ai’s put these jokers out of business and just use them tbh.

Very usefull could be better

This app is soo useful for me but I’d like to leave with a few things that have to be imoroved for it to be flawless. 1. The highlighting is horrible. It’s off 50% of the time, highlighting a word ahed pr behind. Suuper annoying, just highlight the scentance. 2. Code, i read atricles with code in them, please try this yourselves. Read <a></a> Here you need to figure out what is code or have a skip advanced text feature. 3. Parsing webpages is not that hard. Use a visual model to find the relevant areas. 4. Email matching. I have logged in with apple an goolge and when i’m in through google I dont have premium Hope you find it useful!

Great app but …

When taking pics from material to be read it doesn’t handle it so well. Very frustrating. Also logs me out from the computer often. The user perspective needs improvement. But when the pdf is working it’s so smooth. Wish there were more voices in Swedish that actually sound normal.

Jag va jättetaggad på att äntligen ha hittat en app som kan läsa upp för mig nu när jag inte längre har tillgång till ILT. Men denna är värdelös för oss som inte vill lägga 166kr/månad eller 1995kr/år. Hade önskat antingen en förlängd provperiod kanske 1vecka iallafall eller att de inte är lika dyrt

Limited and insignificant features for text to speech

Headers and footers in the doc are not ignored. Words are not pronounced correctly. AI is not trust worthy for summarising. Long words divided between the lines are not pronounced correctly. You shouldn’t be asking for a 2000 SEK subscription for such a sub-standard product.

Outrageous

Wanted something ”better” than the siri voices, or rather more customizable, but I’m immediately greeted by every single voice sounding far choppier than the siri voice listen to page feature included with my iphone. Tried dozens of voices, all sound choppy and artificial in comparison to siri. Add on to that a mere 3 day trial, word limits and an insane price tag of 2000 sek a year, which is 50% more expensive than a FULL YEAR of my data plan for my phone (5G with 14GB/month using one of the biggest cellular networks in sweden). Around 190 euro for a function that can be found free everywhere (although not as good in most cases of course) or included for free with iphone text to speech (which can be made to sound pretty damn good in accessability settings) or a superior version for web reading in safari with siri’s voice for free. You only get some more settings and options and that’s pretty much that. This price is delusional at best. Try 300-500 sek (25-40 euro or so) a year with no word limits or any other limitations and it might be worth it. But I truly believe with all my heart that people who buy this are getting taken advantage of. Avoid and find cheaper or free alternatives or just use the features included with your phone already.
