Too slow to load, can read faster

To slow. Words skipping. Dont load for hours.

Its a fourth day of app not working. First you get used to it. Then the team at speechify don’t bother to reply or reply tge same answer.

Expensive!!!!

Have to pay yearly subscription only, apparently limits premium voice to 150k words no way I’d risk that for a year fee.

Bad experience

So I downloaded this app to use it for like my studies in college and PDFs and documents and one day this guy was bothering me and I wanted to make a voice of Snoop Dogg to say something and it wouldn’t let me and then I tried a whole bunch of other voices and it just sounded like a robot it wouldn’t let me do anything and I I have ADHD so I can’t listen to anything and it’s just annoying because it doesn’t let me focus with the robot voices

False advertising

as someone who struggles to sleep every night, audio books help a lot. I was really excited to use this app as they claimed to be free and a better option than audible but instead i was met with a paywall to use any voice other than the free robotic sounding options. Don't claim to be better than another service if you're just as worse.

More student friendly!

As a University student with dyslexia using this app has been a GAME CHANGER. My reading and comprehension has been boosted by this app 10 fold. Out of all the apps I’ve used so far for text to speech this one is absolutely stand out. My only complaints would be that the price is incredibly steep, if this app is targeted for people in an academic setting.. students taking out loans… the price should maybe consider this? Or at least have an option to do monthly payments instead of the full year up front. Another thing I think the developers should consider is putting a way to look up words in app. It’s all very well and good having the text read the words, but if I don’t know the meaning of the words comprehension of the text takes a hit. If there was a way to markup PDFS and readings, that would be fantastic. Besides that, I really enjoy this app :)

Blinking AWEFUL con artists

I really wanted to like this app. It has the best potential. The idea is amazing. However, once you try the trial, there is no way to cancel. He payment does not run through App Store. Apple can not help you. Speechify are not willing or capable of cancelling you subscription. So far I have been billed $500 NZD and I am still left arguing with them to cancel my subscription and close my account. Apparently they can not do this? I am going to have to change my bank account and Apple accounts to end this terrible app. 100% DO NOT TRIAL THIS APP!
