I compared this app with another one, but I found a big difference in measurements, so I don’t know which one is the correct.

I have used this app for multiple years with great consistent performance. Love the UI. But, about 2-3 months ago the app began to display a very serious behavioral issue. Starting in the iPadOS 17.xV series the app takes several seconds to start the test. It takes so long that you touch the screen 2-3 times thinking the iPad did not register touching the screen in the ‘Start Test’ area. Once the app transitions to the test screen (download, upload) it again takes time to actually start the test and once it does the download behavior looks like an earthquake sensor with tremors graph. Immediately going to a different internet speed test app and running that app, results are smooth, basically evens out - as you would expect - once test connection starts. I have run these sort of side by side comparisons for the last several weeks and ‘Speed Test’ consistently displays this very abnormal behavior. I’m currently at iPadOS 18.2 (iPadPro 13” M4) and the behavior hasn’t changed. I’ve deleted the app & re-installed multiple times with no change. I sincerely hope the developer gets this issue straightened out and gets the app back to how it used to be.

Love it every time I doubt about my internet speed this app comes handy and plus anything it got my back give me prices for more better internet deals just in case I want to drop the ball ughh..!! 😵‍💫👍🥳😅⭐️❤️

I don’t trust this new addition my email address to be sold to third party DEFINITELY OH HECK NO! I have been using this app for years and I despise intrusive methods! Reply to Developer. Since EMAILS is added I don’t trust and therefore would no longer use. I value my privacy. The numerous years I used this app before this change was excellent. Sorry I can’t and will not use again. I travel a lot and have been using this app for the last several months to test speeds everywhere I go. This app is one of the best. It allows me to test WI-FI speeds anywhere I go and as often as I want. It has the option to label each test so I can look back at the history and compare the Wi-Fi speeds throughout my travels. Many other features too. It is well worth the download if you are serious about knowing the connection you have with the outside world.

I’ve tried twice. It freezes my screen and will accept no input. I have to restart my iPad to get the screen to respond again.

Results are quick and understandable. Past tests easy to view.

I wanted to test a speed test app that would be different that the other apps I use to choose which I liked the best. This one is not even close to accurate. I have a brand new fiber install on a main line that’s only been in since last week and my package is 100/100. My speeds are consistently 110/110 (on my apps and on the ISP tech’s test during installation) but this app shows me speeds like 380/107 then 135/105 then 210/110. All other apps show me +/-110/110 right at the router then as distance from the router increases the speed decreases (which should be expected due to weakening signal strength). I can’t trust this app at all.
