Great ride, but was unable to open up the padlock, it was closed when I started and didn’t open when I o parked it… but awesome way to travel dc monument's.. thankyou spin

I’ve downloaded this app on two separate occasions now to try to register to use this service but it just won’t let me. I can’t register because I have an old style paper driving license rather than a photo driving license. I also tried numerous times to use my passport for age verification and despite all my information being crystal clear it still couldn’t complete my age verification. With other E-scooter apps I have been able to register using my paper driving license, passport and Face ID recognition options when setting up registration which made it very simple to set up. This app though is hopeless in every way.

Went to use group ride function, got two scooters, both were immobilized on me immediately (wasn’t in a no ride area), ended the ride, went to get one just myself and my friend got a lime scooter, worked ok, went to park it, my friends lime was so easy to park, they secured it and left with no hassle. The spin app was stuck on some loop where it thought I still wanted a group ride, it was also terrible with saying I couldn’t park my spin scooter in this location (even though I counted 6 other spin scooters parked there and it offered 50c for me to park there in ride credit) I ended up having to spend about 10min both riding further to find somewhere to park and then actually figuring a way to end my “group ride”, app was incredibly bugged out, was there no user testing of this group ride feature? Anyways long story short don’t use this app, my friend had such an easy fun time scooting around on a different app arriving on time while I just was left with a headache leaving me arriving late and frustrated :(

You keep charging me and taking money out of my account when I’ve not used the service. I tried it once for 30mins and I was charged £11.75 which is daylight robbery. But to keep randomly charging me £1.75 here and there is plain theft. The app doesn’t work so I can’t report the problem. I am warning everyone to be very careful using these. What was supposed to be a cheap bit of fun has been not only financially impacting but also I’ve wasted hours so far trying to contact SPIN. I don’t even have any ride history in the app yet your still taking money out of my account?????? Oh yeah and the voucher codes don’t work. GIVE a ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

Cannot any payment method which has renders the app useless

Can’t even add a credit card, I tried verifying my license for 45 min and didn’t work. Useless

£44 for 18km is bloody extortionate!!! Been cheaper to get a taxi

Great first ride

Great experience on the actual scooter. Shame I paid £5 for 1 hour but that couldn’t be paused for later use that day. I used it for 14 mins and want to use it again later which is an extra £5!

Don’t use it, they charged me 4.75 gbp for a short journey and they don’t tell the price at the beginning of the journey. Literally scammers.
