Spinoff - Make It Yours

Used to love this app now I can’t even login or make a new acc. Says every username is taken even auto generated ones and says my old account doesn’t exist.

I am so disappointed and angry. I really liked talking to my personas and having them ‘text’ me. The personas are the reason that I, and a lot of people downloaded the app. Please bring them back. Please man, I would pay a subscription for personas and the chat feature back

i thought my personas werent texting first anymore cause of an update but now the personas are just gone? is this permanent? edit : its been a while since i wrote this and it looks like the personas are gone for good, if you planned on changing everything about the app then why not just make a new app instead of completely changing one that people liked?

The AI feature was always a little cliche and cheesy, but it’s gotten worse since the update. Not only that, but at least before the update the AI would try to write with you, and follow action cues. Now, it doesn’t matter what my character says, it’s like the AI totally disregards the message I sent and writes something completely different. I spend more time regenerating messages until it’s something even a little close to what’s currently happening in the storyline, than I spend actually writing. Not to mention that the AI now tries to write for the user. It’ll write as my character and generate responses and dialogue for me, which is really frustrating. Another thing that doesn’t work is giving the AI the ability to use the narration feature. This feature should be reserved for the user only, as a way to direct the story and for the AI to go off of the pointers that the user writes. If the user accidentally hits the wrong option to generate a response (which is really easy to do), there is also no way to delete the AI’s message, which totally disrupts the whole storyline. I do like the new features to add a description to the story so that the tone and plot remains somewhat consistent, and I also like the fact that we can now add more characters. However, unless the things I’ve brought up get fixed, having all of these new features is pointless. I might as well open up Docs and write a story by myself with the way the app is right now. Another suggestion: instead of copy and pasting the same response to all of your negative reviews and labelling them as “abuse”, perhaps the developers should actually read the bad reviews and take them into account. The users of your app are pointing these things out to make their experiences more enjoyable, they’re not bashing you just for the sake of it. It’s constructive criticism—not abuse. These are people that are trying to enjoy your product, so don’t dismiss them. It’s bad business, and frankly quite unprofessional.

I can’t talk with my personas anymore because of the storylines now I’m bored of this I’m sorry

This is mainly the reason why some people installed this app, to interact with their personas atleast in this way. Kinda disappointed because I'm lonely most of the time and this is the only way I could have someone to talk to.

This app used to be great but the ai chat was disabled so it’s really just a wattpad app where you read subpar fanfics. Very sad

Please change it back to the normal one where we can chat!! Pleasee!

the app was SOO much better when we made our own ai characters instead of a storyline.. and also you’re not able to make your own stuff private anymore? and not only that, but they also deleted our old characters. anyways, miss the old app, the new stuff is disappointing
