Since some updates to Chess.com, it is no longer possible to play on Chess.com. Since the app hasn't had an update in 6 months, I'm thinking of ditching the Squate Off Pro for a device that will be directly compatible with Chess.com.

I downloaded the App it’s not working I tried to login but after buffering for a long time it says that « An Error Occurred. Please try again » I’ve been trying to login to the app from past week and still its showing the same issue. I’m using i phone my phone is updated, square off App is updated I tried to reset my password and also I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app several times but still it’s showing the same issue. I contacted the support on live chat they told that I’ve to call them. I bought Square off pro rollable chessboard but I’m disappointed as I can’t use the board because of the issues with app. So, that’s why I returned it. If any developer or any member of square of team is checking the reviews. Please fix this issue with app. I’m from Canada.

Square off is a hopeless dumpster fire that will lose games for no reason other than it loses travk if pieces! Hot garbage!

We got notification for firmware update. After firmware installation board stopped working we tried to contact support team , but it seems their support is very limited. Complete money waste.

Great fun. Excellent way to work on your game vs the AI and so much fun to play people online

I’ll be playing a game and randomly the board will lose connection and the circular light pattern will start to light up. In the middle of the game.

What a terrible experience, after years of wait, my board arrived damaged, the second board never arrived, I download the app to try and use the one I got despite being bent and it loses connection halfway through the games leaving me no option but to play in the jankiest chess app out there, horrible in every way. Also the view function does not work, it asks for your chess.com and lichens password which is insanely unsafe… It delivers poorly on everything it does, but it has a ton of monetization options for you!!! I wish I could get my 500 dollars back or the product that was advertised 5 years ago.

When the app originally came out it was a little easier to navigate and all of the features were unlocked. Now it has gotten a bit more busy and more advanced features are limited for free and hidden behind a paywall if you want to use them unlimited. Disappointed to see a money grab like that on an app that you need in order for their “smart” chess boards to actually be smart.

Haven’t finished a game yet. Computer keeps misinterpreting moves and cannot go back without bugging that requires reset. Really disapointed in the product. Doesn’t recommend it to anyone. Overpriced + useless.

Have ran it on my iPhone and iPad, app constantly crashing mid-game
