The app drains the battery. I recommend the use of instruments to find the code that causes this battery usage! As a developer myself, this is unacceptable! Also the app crashes quite often while playing online (chess.com)

Hi, I just updated the app. At this moment 20-04-2022 the app crashes when I connect to the board. And if I try to play as black the board said I have to play first … Overall I like the Square Off flexible board and app (however the app drains the battery quite fast, because it has to think a lot I presume) I also have contacted the helpdesk for this problem.

If you love chess you simply have to buy the square off chess set. I also own the DGT Revelation 2(€3000) but I prefer playing with Square off. It is simply fantastic!! But now for the app, it works very well but sometimes it crashes after a game. This is after the latest update. Also I really hate that they created in-app purchases, this really makes it feel cheap. This quality and sophisticated board deserves top class software. unfortunately there is a major battery drain bug in the app which I reported several times to the developer but which does not get fixed. Battery drain is 30-40 percent in a 20 minute game which is unacceptable. Please fix this so I can increase the rating!

This Chessboard is very Good. I like to Play with iT. Also i van play against other people for iT is intergrate in Chess.com. I hope that there come soon also options to play in Chess.com with ELO ratings.

Great board and service. App is very poor, lacks any functionality. Most importent one; you cannot take back moves when playing against the App. Also the board does not check that you place the pieces correctly when you take them. (Kingdom version only) It makes you wonder why they made the kingdom version

Its interesting. But, clarification, stream games doesn’t mean stream my own games from Lichess. I want to play games with both players (me and my friend) onto the board. That’s not possible (yet) Thanks for clarified information tech support.

How do you cancel a membership? There isn’t any option on the app to cancel as stated in FAQs.
