Downloaded this app to follow the recommendations of a YouTuber I love. I selected sign in using AppleID. Log in is extremely slow on both iPad and iPhone; when logged in, the content loads slowly or not at all; my Profile won;t load. Clearly something many others don’t suffer, but not a good experience either. Unusually at the moment.

Being charged for this every month. Not on my Apple subscription list and no way to cancel the subscription. I don’t like that app and isn’t easy to use IMHO! The fact they charge you and you can’t cancel seems like a scam.

Got to see all the places Dua Lipa recommends, I love it!

Honestly exactly what’s been missing for me. Great app for saving my fave places in a social way. 10/10 recommend 💯💯

The up isn’t working. Take again to download the data the it shows error message

- the subscription charges do not come under Apple subscriptions and the process to unsubscribe is buggy - you press unsubscribe but button remains visible unsubscribed. - I followed TOPJAW but honestly their lists are just crammed with numerous random restaurants, I got it for NY but after reviewing London list I realised it’s not at all a refined list of places, half of them are extremely average at best. You will be better off checking out eg Opinionated About Dining ranking which is free and much better vetted

Just a caution which I didn’t realise when I downloaded this app. Once you start following individuals you might pay subscriptions for the people you follow however you can’t cancel this from your normal place in Apple where you can cancel your other subscriptions. It doesn’t give you a lot of detail about payment in the app basically you need to Unfollow the person or group and then only you can unsubscribe, so just be cautious and how many you subscribe to because you can’t cancel directly from your Apple and I only realised when I got a payment email.

I love the concept of this app as I’m very foodie and love to find new places to share. However my city (Plymouth) doesn’t register as a city it just comes up as ‘All the rest’ which is verging on offensive 😂 There’s no way to rename guides to fit what you want, and no way to do e.g. ‘North Devon’. You need to be able to create and name your own guides for this app to make any sense !!!!

This all doesn’t really give any value (you can just follow the creators on insta or TikTok and then use Google maps and make lists of the recommendations) and then they make it impossible for you to unsubscribe so it keeps charging you until you email them. Very poor.

Guides are guidless - just here's a place, no info about why. App frequently doesn't load places when clicking on map.
