StepBet: Make Money Walking

After completing a game, it takes forever to make a payout to get ur money back. I’ve been waiting for almost 3 weeks, and it keeps saying $0 or the amount I’m supposed to receive. It keeps saying pending at the top and it’s so frustrating!!!

I was very excited to use this app. I became very motivated knowing there was money on the line. I invested $40. I won the game I joined. I was not a member, so instead of winning $57 I won $48. However, the game claims my email and PayPal account do not match. So they would not payout my account… They wanted proof. A picture of my drivers license and screenshots of both accounts. This does not sit well with me as they EASILY took money from my account. “Fany” the customer service rep was of no help. Enjoy the $40, StepBet. I will not recommend this app to anyone.

I loved the app while doing a monthly challenge but had finished it end of May and it won’t let me get my money from PayPal! I am getting upset! I type in my email and it says it sends it and my STEPBET amount will go to $0 but then I check my PayPal account and it never comes! So then it gets sent back to STEPBET and then I have kept trying and nothing! I want my money.

I’m getting very irritated because I see no where to email them even though that’s what the FAQ sheet says. My Apple Watch died yesterday so I didn’t hit my goal. I don’t want to lose $40 because of that. It was also posted everywhere that it’s a risk free 1st week and I’m seeing nowhere where I can cancel and now there’s some confusing language like it’s the 1st week of the game when you can quit? That was not made clear at all and I want my money back.

How much longer is it to be expected to receive your own money back?! It has been over six hours & I requested this early this morning in order to pay for an emergency. This needs to be resolved right away! There is not wait time for payment to join games nor a wait for payment for membership. There is no reason why this is taking HOURS to get my OWN MONEY! When will my money be released?! I’ve paid to be a member several times & played the max of three games. This is a couple of hundred dollars that is rightfully mine that is not being given back to me! FIX THIS ASAP

I have tried to download and join this app twice. And both times I receive a “internal error” when trying to sync with Apple Health.

The fact that this app will not update steps will cost you $$$ because you will lose if it doesn’t log your steps!!!

App itself is good. I like the dial but I really wish there was a widget or something that would display on my Home Screen because unless I opened the app it doesn’t show me where I’m at and sometimes I forget about it and then by the time I check it’s game over. This would be my third time trying and I’m really wanting to finish but it’s difficult without something like that for us neurodivergent people who forget what they don’t see lol

I’ve so enjoyed participating in Step Bets and the extra incentive to keep moving throughout the day. I also had an issue with my account and their customer service team was so easy to work with and Alexia solved my issue super quickly! I love step bet!
