Storyteller by MHN

I'm unsure about subscribing for another year. The illustrations and reflections are amazing and often timely, but the app is a bit janky. There are times when the reflection for the day won't load properly — no available reflection for a day, the same entries would show up for two consecutive days (i.e., the ones on April 23-24, 2024), an entry will appear later than usual (e.g., a day after the actual date), or the app won't even open upon clicking it or trying to open it via the app store. I'm uncertain if such things should be experienced often in a year because I haven't encountered such noticeable inconveniences on other apps I'm subscribed to, such as Daylio and Duolingo. In addition, I've been using these two longer, but they haven't been as glitchy as this. I hope the developers can do something about it. Thanks!

I am personally in awe of how Morgan made this app. I've always kept an eye out for their posts on Twitter and Instagram hoping for a timely message and now, with Storyteller, I can have daily reminders and even wallpapers of quotes that speak to me, and even do a short reflection of their messages. I also raised a concern about the daily reminder schedule one time, and the person who assisted me has been very helpful and patient, so I would like to extend my gratitude to Ronalyn. I hope that Morgan and Ronalyn and the rest of their team will continue to spread kindness and positivity to the people they encounter.

The app was good so far even if it was a bit slow at times. Recently it had an update wherein i had to register and for some unknown reason i could no longer access my 1 year paid subscription.

It stopped sending daily messages even with the paid account

When the app works properly, I love it. The art is beautiful, and the words are uplifting and encouraging (despite the grammatical errors). It seems rather often, the app doesn't work correctly. It won't stay open, or nothing is loaded when it opens. If I could use the app properly daily, I would give it five stars.

You won’t regret buying this for yourself, it is worth the money. I always seem to hear what I need and the prompts to write daily are super helpful. I love her artwork and she feels so kind and connected even though she’s writing to masses. Do this for yourself and your mind. If you’re looking to take care of yourself or get your emotions out or write more or even just have a daily Inspo to read…. Super helpful. Cannot say enough good things 12/10

This touched my heart deeply. I am in a challenging season, sometimes feeling will I be able to keep going… this allowed me to take a breath, a spark of hope, I have been clinging to holding on…. Morgan’s words are always such a blessing to my life & I’m super grateful for this app!! I had some issues due to the secured WiFi at work and I couldn’t understand why the app wasn’t loading but Ronalyn was quick to get back to me and super helpful! Overall, this app is a MUST!!
