Messages and communications with doctors will be locked out if you haven’t responded in a certain period of time. In my experience when some issue comes up later like a month and you wanna follow up the doctor on that issue it would be nice to continue the conversation in the message string. The app is not friendly to maintain communications has made the patient experience subpar.
SutterHealth MyHealthOnline (by Epic SW) is fantastic. My only request is to add the ability to attach images/photos to Messages. Stanford Health has that ability.
I am very impressesd by this app and I am a project manager in a high tech company doing iPhone app development full time.
I have one medication that is prescribed by a specialist that is on file with my meds and the physicians name is on the meds script within this app and my online file. BUT, when I request a refill for this specific special med from my specialist, whose name is on the script with all the pertinent information, it ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, goes to my PCP. Why would this occur when my PCP’s name is not even on the script, not prescribed by my PCP, and the specialist’s name is on the med script in the file for medications. I do not understand why it continues to go to my PCP, when in fact it has nothing to do with my PCP’s office, and I had to have a referral to the specialist to get the specialized medication. My PCP is not licensed nor certified to prescribe it. Can SUTTER HEALTH please help me with this issue? As it takes several phone calls to get this certain medication with your (800) number, and even the customer service reps cannot seem to get this correct either. On average, when I call it in after the disastrous requests online ((as Sutter Health is here for my convenience, not for me to chase this down and do the work of others, this is a strong assumption on my part since I am the patient, correct?) the reps on average take 4-6 phone calls for me to explain this all over again , and I cannot understand why this is so difficult? I have used my pharmacy multiple times over multiple days to send over a request and that has not worked either Can you please advise as to what to do with this continuous situation that is seriously causing me to pull my hair out. My PCP has pushed this specialized med on me so hard and takes the stand that this is the best drug on the market for the worst chronic pain a patient suffers with. This is my third go around and it still doesn’t work. But I am doing my due diligence but can’t seem to get it in any sort of manageable time at all to get a refill. If I can be candid, my PCP has pretty much shoved this drug down my throat to take and stating that this is the med i on the market for somebody who suffers from severe chronic pain I felt like he was shoving me out the door from his office as he didn’t want to deal with me anymore. So as I am going on my third round of taking the same medication that still does not work I can’t even get it. So what do I do Sutter health? DISTRAUGHT, and IN SEVERE CHRONIC PAIN, S.A.S.
Sutter is a more caring & a competent medical system. With doctors, nurses & all of their staff being kind & experienced! I just had x-rays done recently ( after having CTs & MRIs In the past). & all the staff were very efficient yet patient & kind with me. Marissa & Linda were the 2 staff members who helped me yesterday, Wednesday. The doctors, Dr. Rooke, Dr, Dodd, Dr . Aghdasi & all their staffs are excellent. They listen to me & answer any questions I have easily. I really appreciate everyone who I have come in contact with here! ❤️
I appreciate being able to review immediate results and notes, especially from multiple agencies and doctors/practitioners/labs. Thank you!
The app generally works well, but the login is missing a Face ID option.
Navigating is extremely simple and well organized. Great App!!
Downloaded app seems fine but wondering why location settings needs to be on always instead of when using for appointment arrival feature.
