System2: 1-on-1 Fitness Coach

I was charged $160 past the original subscription time with no option to cancel, and no recourse within the app. This app is just here to take your money, the coach texts are completely automated and tbh the app itself is not user friendly at all. I would NOT recommend unless you have money to burn, and I will be attempting to get a refund as there is no way I can find within the app or to get in touch with the “coach” (HA!) I subscribed with. My subscription should have been canceled per my original agreement!!!! BOOOOO

Imagine having a trainer in your pocket! I love the video feedback feature, that all of my meals are here, and a super easy to use format. Could not be happier with this app! Thanks Coach & System2

Couldn’t love this app more, reaching all my fitness coaches working with my coach!

Everything is on one place and I love being able to record my workouts for my coach to critique my form.

I have the same experience as everyone else that made a negative review. I signed up thinking I’d be able to speak to with this “coach”. It’s her assistant. She told me it would be custom workout plans, etc. I never got a phone call, or message from this coach to find my fitness goals. I message the assistant right away after signing up to cancel my plan - no more than 2 hours. Which means she never made the workouts tailored to me. All of a sudden a few days later, there’s a workout plan and meals listed. I disputed the charge

Agree with LAdude35 in a previous review and wish I’d read it before I signed up with a “coach” … I had the exact same situation, had to schedule a call with an “assistant” to learn “if I’d be a good fit for their program”. I had to commit to 3 or 6 months. The menu never changed once for the 2 months that I paid, although the coach advertised “weekly custom meal plans.” For being a 1:1 accountability program, the coach never reached out proactively to see why I might I have missed workouts, ask how I’m doing, etc. It was just whatever I put in my weekly check in of generic questions. This is definitely just a way for the coaches to rake in money because they can lock you into an unreasonable high rate for services that are super subpar. I am thankful however for the System2 team as they were able to cancel my app membership early.

I signed up with a female coach who advertised on Instagram that she had her own cos Bing app. For $200 a month she would be my private coach. I decided to place a call with her “assistant” which turned out to not be her “assistant” but an employ of the APP company who gets you onboarded. You must commit to 3 months! They want you to upload weekly photos or you can’t log progress. The “menu” only change monthly. The “coach” I had uploaded daily exercises and if I didn’t reach out to her - she never checked in. I am not saying all coaches who use this app abuse it - but the buyer must be aware that this is set up for a coach to preload everything and put you on autopilot if they don’t truly care about you. Those photos you uploaded and your data is not private either.

I’m a woman in her mid 30’s who has always been pretty active and was struggling finding a program that would get the desired results I’ve wanted- namely, a visibly toned body and a fitness regimen that I could do at home that challenged me without being too high impact and wrecking my knees like BBG did. S2 has proven to be the Goldilocks solution for me- my custom workouts are perfectly suited to my goals, interests, and abilities, and I’m not tied to a smelly gym to get them done. I love my trainer, Taylor, who is personable, corrects my form, adjusts workouts as my needs change, and keeps me motivated with positive feedback on all my progress. The results have been astounding too- In all my years of fitness, I’ve never felt stronger, more energetic, and more toned than I do now. App functionality is good and constantly improving. As with all new apps, there are bugs here and there, but they are quickly addressed by the S2 team. Can’t wait for Apple Watch integration as I’d love to be able to seamlessly sync my activity there with S2! But even without this feature, logging extra workouts for my trainer to see is still quick and easy. Can’t recommend this program enough.

System 2 is the closest thing to having an in-person fitness coach, for a fraction of the price. The app is very intuitive and lets me see how to perform workout routines, record myself doing them and get detailed feedback from my personal coach. My coach has also kept me accountable to my weekly regimen which has been amazing. Overall, would strongly recommend the service to anyone considering getting fit or getting a personal trainer.
