Just getting to the end of the basics lessons. The only thing I find annoying is the inability to silence the chime for correct or wrong answers without having to put the whole phone on silence (and then forgetting to turn the phone back on to ring...!)
Interface much better. Looking forward to new content.

Hi I was trying to use this app but it kept saying loading cloud data.I want to make a video game and will not work.
After completing the free lessons so easily I was compelled to purchase the rest of the app. It is a bit steep but the learning concept seemed to work with the free lessons. I am on the third ll fourth pay lesson now and am a bit confused. I don’t understand what all these things are for. If you already state x = 8 then why would you need to have all these true ll false constants about x? I guess I would like to know how all of these booleans and stuff are going to be needed in coding. A few examples of why we would need these strings would be helpful. I will update my review when I am done with all the lessons. Hopefully it will all make sense then.
Really good just needs reminders
It explains the concepts well, using simple language and examples. It’s interactive and bite-sized. Job well done.
I have started and stopped with learning Swift several times. This app has finally got me all in on learning. The app is great I just don’t think the typing portion is that great or just needs to be a larger font. Also, dark mode or themes would be great cause the constant white background is straining.
First of all, it’s free. You can buy early access to lessons or you can go at the recommended pace and the lessons will unlock as you go. Second, coding is very sensitive to typos. Most of the concepts are clearly written but I’ve found a few typos. There’s a mechanism to report them. Third, it utilizes a creative way of using the iOS GUI to learn the basics of Swift. Very cool.
