Measurement Tape: Measure Room

I was able to get clear and concise measurements of my room.

Forgot the tape measure when moving my child into the dorms this weekend. This came in handy for figuring out floor layout.

This app is so nifty! It allows you to use your phone as a camera and then to measure things by tapping on the screen. It’s easy to use and makes it fun to measure the most annoying things around the house.

I tried this app. First, the tutorial doesn’t really explain how to use it. Second, the yellow box you use to identify your points was very hard to see. I was outside on an overcast day, and the yellow box was very faint. Third, every measurement I took was WAY off. A 12’ wall came out to 26’ according to this app. Very frustrating.

Extremely inaccurate. Cool idea, but it was telling me my height was 30 feet. Tried messing around with it and I couldn’t get even remotely close of a measurement.

Good for quick measurements of larger items , camera is pretty accurate and most of the features are free!
