Needs a spot to purchase a child ticket for my under 8 year-old who does not have his own phone.
The app keeps crashing and so makes it unusable, please fix ASAP!
I was directed to this app from the Lothian buses App. Downloaded it then when I open it and go to the tickets tab I get a message to say M Tickets has moved with a link to download yet another App. Given up, hopefully they take cash or cards on the buses. Bizarre 3 Apps to buy a bus ticket!!
This app is far too unpredictable. Countless times, I’ve looked silly in front of the bus driver because a ticket I already activated won’t open. Even with mobile data on!
Try optimising your app so it doesn’t crash upon opening constantly & when I try to click on one of the tickets I’ve purchased. Multiple times this has happened & I have un used tickets held hostage because you can’t make a competent TICKET app. Jesus Christ.
Unable to access my tickets
Even when you open the app minutes in advance of your bus arriving it rarely is functioning with ticket ready to go by the time you need to activate it. Don’t know what happens but it just freezes when it opens. Doesn’t even show the twirling circle icon in action as reassurance that something is happening. Completely unreliable.
Keeps crashing all the time
I have started using this app in the last month or two. Firstly tickets are not that cheap in some cases. It is also unclear what ticket you require in some areas, and what zones they cover. When you discover the zones. It is not clear what they are. There is no map on the app showing the zones, so you need to look elsewhere, and when you do, even that is not all that clear. I also know for a fact you can combine an Edinburgh annual pass with fares out with the Edinburgh City Zone (whatever that is), but there is no mention of either. It is even mentioned on the more extensive website. Improvement required.
Useful app, but please fix an issue when app freezes for about a minute every time you open it - it doesn't crash but complete freezes, then just un-freeze after about a minute. That's causing problems when you need to open and active a ticket quickly, and some drivers aren't patience enough to wait this long
