Support for Subscription is Terrible.

I ummed and arrred over paying the subscription to join The Athletic arguing to myself I can get the required news, stories etc from the usual mainstream media sources or specific sites with relevance to my team - all for free. Yes, you can of course ...... but it’s just that - mass produced or simplistic explanation of what’s going on at your club or a review of some sporting event or politic of sport But to get the real insight , the real understanding of sport and insight of your personal affiliation written in such brilliant prose and foresight you simply just have to get The Athletic I’m writing this review with the hairs on my arms still standing from a dramatic, inspiring, memory-churning article by Phil Hay on my beloved and sometimes damned club. It’s sports writing at its finest and I’m so bloody glad I subscribed and have this wonderful access into true sport with brilliant writers on many sports and many related topics The Athletic - in equal measure, I salute you and thank you. After reading a lengthy article, the app goes right back to the top, thereby losing my place on what to read next. Please fix this

I pay for The Athletic directly (and they just charged my card for the renewal), but I keep getting articles blocked saying they are only for paid subscribers. I AM a paid subscriber. If this keeps happening, I will cancel my account and get my money back. Why bother paying if I can’t use the app.

The comments section are filled with amount of know it alls that likely have never been successful at anything in their life. Just the comment sections alone make me regret getting a year subscription upfront

I can’t figure out how to flyer out all of the baseball, hockey and soccer stories, which I don’t care about.

I’m disappointed with the subpar product and repeated attempts to trick me into buying more expensive subscriptions.

Unfortunately, only far left viewpoints are allowed in comments. In typical left wing-controlled media sites other viewpoints are regularly censored.

id like to work for you as a writer for the FPL-section. more specifically, draft mode. sleeper introduced a draft mode this year and it looks promising and like it could take off. there’s been a draft mode in the official app for years now but this sleeper app and scoring has lots of benefits imo. anyway get back to me ,please.
