Great interface and way to use your power data to drive performance improvements. Keep up the good work!
Not sure how to recommend this app. The AI coach is basic and pretty much regurgitates vague information about the question you ask it if you are lucky. The crux of the training you are directed to do is a lot of steady rides. Not sure whether I needed an app to tell me 10+ hours a week will get me fitter, but I am following it and it’s quite good if you’re a freelancer with no regular weekly schedule like me, as it adjusts through the week to keep you on target. I’ve been training a lot for 6 weeks but at no point has the app decided I should have a rest week, which seems odd - it just keeps telling you to do between your average 4 week workload and your all time best weekly workload so you ride more and more and more. I’m sticking with it for now and features are appearing slowly, but i was hoping for a little more than “ride lots” as the main message
I went through the trial period just to get a taste of it, I’d say it’s useful as a guide and setting targets and motivate yourself to keep training constant. With that said, the AI assistant is (being quite generous) kinda half baked, offering solutions that don’t get really implemented (asked about changing the schedule of my weekly training sessions) and always refers to a poorly executed FAQ section for pretty much everything. As some others, I’ve experienced inconsistent data sync from strava/zwift/garmin connect. Having a discount available on a year subscription from Roadman podcast I was be more than interested on giving it a try but I’ve been waiting already 2 weeks for support to get back to me. I’m not giving my money to a product that gets virtually zero support.
The app stick processing my data. Uninstalled and unsubscribed
This app takes your data and makes it easy to see where your strengths and weaknesses are. The usefulness is in how they present the data and then set levels for you to build and progress. The app then adds training sessions which pull through from other apps like Zwift. There’s also great training support in regular emails which pad out the data on the app. Only a few months in but so far so good.
Good all round app but it would be nice if it could track your strava data when you first start the app so you can get good recommendations quickly
Simple to use and understand yet nuanced enough to give you plenty of targets to aim for. Have honestly made more progress in the 4 weeks since starting my subscription than in the previous 4 months. Highly recommended 👍
Second time I’ve tried to use this app. It connects to my Wahoo account then presents a totally nonsense power profile which bears no resemblance to me. Tried to feedback via the app but the feature is broken so you can’t send it, and crashes if you try to attach a screenshot. I wouldn’t normally give a bad review without giving feedback but seeing as it won’t allow me to, I guess that’s that.
A great way to measure your progress. Not as complete a set of workout options as other platforms. Bit harsh on the performance scale - I’m beginner on some of the metrics!
I have struggled to find a training system that suits me, TrainerRoad is excellent but is expensive and means I have to have a second subscription on top of Zwift. I did get rid of Zwift but missed the interaction. This seemed perfect as it was relatively inexpensive and utilised Zwift functionality. Overall I remain unconvinced but will give it longer, there is some excellent content but it doesn’t seem to mesh well with the app although the app meshes really well with my Garmin and zwift. I don’t have a power meter on my winter training bike so it was a bit disappointing that long hilly routes were ignored for lack of power. The app it self is very good but doesn’t have the flexibility and planning facility of something like TR. I will however persist and for the princely sum of £3.49 it is worth a punt.
