Wish I had listened to the reviews
While the game is 300,000 words long it feels ridiculously short, the story is nowhere near as good as the first one, the survival mode isn’t very enjoyable and the Staff of Power scenario makes my blood boil, you die much too easily.
Awful
The first game was actually really good, it had an interesting story and a unique take on combat compared to other Choice of Games apps. But this is terrible, it’s much shorter than the original and just not even interesting. A big part of the Prince/King storyline is war with other nations and its by the far the worst part of an already bad game. The “battles” consist of selecting the “Send in the troops” option 30+ times watching a number tick down from about 2000 or more in very small increments. Seriously don’t waste your money on this, the first one is so much better.
Amazing game but…
I love this game the way the characters are developed and the way the story progresses is amazing. The only problem is that the second part isn’t free. For many we try to entertain ourselves with what we can get without paying because we don’t have access to it.
So far it’s excellent!
I’m having an issue unlocking the full game, but the free portion I’ve played so far is excellent. I’m already excited to play through again with different choices, but I’ll want to bring in a new character for that from the first game. I’ll leave a better review when I can play through fully!
Played both
I like the first one better and would suggest playing it before playing this one because it’s more of a ‘part 2’ sorta thing. This one is GREAT, you will get sucked into it if you like story’s, any text based games, or even mid evil stuff (which I learned a few things from this series). The creators never stopped working on it, although I am curious if they created another book for it which I really hope they do. So far these have been the best quality text based games on iOS I’ve found out of the dozens I’ve downloaded and played.
Good game but a few suggestions
I love this game very much, but first off I think that you should make a third part, you know, like what happened right after Queen Hannah and I got married, or some other adventure. Second, I think that it is wrong to say that I am King in the first book, but then I have to vote, and I don’t end up becoming kinks so it’s like I am granted a BOON four no reason.
Pretty great
First game especially had me so immersed in the game and the characters I wish this second part was free with ads or something but it’s pretty good
Just one problem
I love the first and second interactive novels but, to gain more popularity you should make all parts of the second one free, at least until you reach a higher status of popularity for the interactive novel. I would love to pay for the rest of the parts but, honestly money does not come easy for me.
The Best Choice Making Game I Have Ever Played
I really enjoyed Both of the great tournament books and hope there will be many more
Amazing Story
The story is well-written and the plot is exciting and realistic. I love how you actually need to have a smart strategy to win the battles and have to make smart choices to have good outcomes. 10/10 Great Game. If there would be a game like this where you actually are the King of a nation and could form alliances, attack other nations, and go on quests, that would be amazing.
