Not hitting the spot
The great tournament is one of the first books I really enjoyed reading. It was such a good story, fun and easy to read. It kept my attention by giving me options who effect the story.
That's honestly all still there.
I still love the story and the writing style.
Only difference is The great tournament 2 is slow, really slow. A big fight is like 40% of the story you buy.
It’s more a strategy game than a interactive book. It is not so much about reading and making choices but more about preparing for one big war. Don’t get me wrong I do loved the massiveness of the fight but for 7,99 I hoped there would be like 4/5 chapters with multiple of those fights.
It really didn’t have a ending and a lot of lose ends.
It feels like the writer was just done with the story.
I would, fully recommend to read the great tournement 1. Its amazing as a starter for kids who are on the spectrum or just don’t read in general.
With all the respect to the writer, I would honestly skip this one.
Good story
Good story however the battles take too long, and too many times of clicking
Amazing game but…
I love this game the way the characters are developed and the way the story progresses is amazing. The only problem is that the second part isn’t free. For many we try to entertain ourselves with what we can get without paying because we don’t have access to it.
So far it’s excellent!
I’m having an issue unlocking the full game, but the free portion I’ve played so far is excellent. I’m already excited to play through again with different choices, but I’ll want to bring in a new character for that from the first game. I’ll leave a better review when I can play through fully!
Played both
I like the first one better and would suggest playing it before playing this one because it’s more of a ‘part 2’ sorta thing. This one is GREAT, you will get sucked into it if you like story’s, any text based games, or even mid evil stuff (which I learned a few things from this series). The creators never stopped working on it, although I am curious if they created another book for it which I really hope they do. So far these have been the best quality text based games on iOS I’ve found out of the dozens I’ve downloaded and played.
Good game but a few suggestions
I love this game very much, but first off I think that you should make a third part, you know, like what happened right after Queen Hannah and I got married, or some other adventure. Second, I think that it is wrong to say that I am King in the first book, but then I have to vote, and I don’t end up becoming kinks so it’s like I am granted a BOON four no reason.
Pretty great
First game especially had me so immersed in the game and the characters I wish this second part was free with ads or something but it’s pretty good
Just one problem
I love the first and second interactive novels but, to gain more popularity you should make all parts of the second one free, at least until you reach a higher status of popularity for the interactive novel. I would love to pay for the rest of the parts but, honestly money does not come easy for me.
The Best Choice Making Game I Have Ever Played
I really enjoyed Both of the great tournament books and hope there will be many more
Amazing Story
The story is well-written and the plot is exciting and realistic. I love how you actually need to have a smart strategy to win the battles and have to make smart choices to have good outcomes. 10/10 Great Game. If there would be a game like this where you actually are the King of a nation and could form alliances, attack other nations, and go on quests, that would be amazing.
