The House of Da Vinci

It’s enjoyable, but not as much as The Room series. In House of Da Vinci the puzzles get a bit tedious, especially towards the end as they seem to require a bit more random luck to solve rather than logic like the ones in the Room

Ima keep this short since I always end up writing huge paragraphs on game reviews, it’s very similar to the room, at which point I thought it was by the same people, but what I like to think is it’s more of a spin-off to it rather then a knock off I like to imagine that after our adventure here the glass thingy was then given to another person playing the room so sorts like that, I haven’t thought to much about it but I like to think it ties in with the room, also can be pretty hard but I got threw it without any tutorials, apart from one which was really brief and didn’t really help too much, but great game good gameplay and mysterious makes you want to keep playing and find out who that winged man was and who was following us and who tried to stab us, when we jumped in the portal, also it’s more Likely I would have soccer punched him but meh I guess jumping into the portal works too

Great game. Graphics and mechanisms are second to none. So much fun and satisfying.

Some things are better, such as the double eye-piece temporal mechanics, the cut scenes and the sheer quantity and difficulty of the puzzles, and the length of the experience. Some are not quite as good- the graphics is a little less crisp, the perspectives often less complete, and I like how in The Room, you can tap an object and get clues of what is required. That said, I’d be hard pressed to know which game I prefer! Thank you for feeding my love of these games!

Me and my kids really loved this game and enjoyed working together to solve each puzzle. Challenging and needed hints quite a lot but such an impressive game visually and loved how it ties in with historic facts mixed with some fantasy. Also refreshingly no annoying ads or in-game payments - just a one off payment and it’s yours. Looking forward to playing the whole series.

It challenged me unlike other games

Have now played ALL The Room puzzles including Old Sins and now finally after a very long hiatus I have finished House of DaVinci. Love the puzzles, the gadgets, the graphics and animations that go along with ALL of the levels. It definitely makes you think to solve them, and there are helpful hints along the way to help guide you rather than just quitting the game in frustration. So that is good! I highly recommend it and can’t wait to play HoD#2 now. Have just downloaded that for later!

Iv played the room 1,2 & 3 and this is by far better (even though they are similar). What I liked about this was that it wasn’t dark like the room was. So good I can’t wait to play number 2

It does seem to rip off the room somewhat, however it’s ok. Having a very similar ocular device is odd. The glove thing seem pointless and the journal does not seem to play any real part other than plot filler. Found the some puzzles adding superfluous complications rather than collecting clues to work them out. Some navigation issue as well. Overall and entertaining game - still enjoyed playing it.

I loved this game, great graphics, puzzles that get the old grey matter working and yes I did use the walkthrough a couple of times. It is similar to The Room but stands on it’s own with gameplay. I’m off now to play the second game.
