However, Leonardo's workshop is full of puzzles, inventions, escape mechanisms and objects hidden in all corners of beautifully decorated rooms. Many challenging puzzles are inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's real inventions and ideas. Mysterious locations were created based on original artworks and the wonderful Florence, Italy of 1506.

Disappointed :/

It’s just not playable on an iPhone. Some of the switches you have to manipulate are too small. You go to slide something and it either moves the whole screen around, or starts to close the app because you’ve swiped up from the bottom. I now cannot get any further as I was stuck and gave in and watched a walkthrough. Only to find what I’d been trying to do was right, just impossible as the switch is too small and the game is not responsive enough. Gutted was my little treat to myself. Absolute waste of money.

Impossible to finish if you’re red/green colorblind

Got quite far, but totally stuck at ‘gem’ bit - as colors are impossible to see if you have any sort of red/green color deficiency, as many people have. Annoying.

Excellent as always! Ending was a bit quick and sudden. Needed more ’ explanation ‘ with hope for further adventures using Time Machine Nevertheless worth every penny! - eagerly awaiting TESLAR now! I can imagine the effort you expend creating these games but we wait too long for each new arrival - but the quality, thought processes that must go into every one and the final result is well worth the weight! Congrats to the whole team

Tries to be The Room - but fails

I finished all the games in “The Room” series, and was looking for a new, similar game, but I wish I’d done this one first because I couldn’t help but compare it unfavourably. Positives first; it’s an interesting concept with beautiful and detailed artwork, and it’s nice to see some of da Vinci’s inventions featured. Negatives: illogical puzzles, outstandingly unhelpful hints that often pop up after you needed them, frustrating controls, too much unnecessary to-ing and fro-ing between areas (if the main character were wearing a step counter it would be in the thousands. The puzzles are unnecessarily difficult to the point that it gets too frustrating to play for more than 20 minutes at a time, and unlike The Room I had to resort to watching walkthrough videos which I really don’t like doing, because you shouldn’t have to; it’s unsatisfying and makes gameplay very stop start. The random men made no sense, nor did the sudden ending. All in all it feels like the game needed much more testing by members of the public or independent testers during the development. I really hope the sequel was better, but right now I’m not inclined to pay for it to see. Disappointing and frustrating.

I’m stuck

Got to the dials where I assemble the Vitruvian man and nothing happens. I’ve tried it several times now. I’ve even looked at a cheat walkthrough but nothing happens when I assemble the image. I can’t go any further. Very disappointed.

Excellent

I’ve played all 3 games a few times now, just fabulous. Amazing graphics, very clever gameplay and puzzles. Highly recommended!

A waste of my life!

The display of the scenarios was far too dark, as mentioned by others elsewhere, I had to turn my brightness on my iPad way up. Rooms are clumsy to navigate, and as again, mentioned by others, too bitty and full of fiddly and often unresponsive triggers, with too many tools to open, unwind and merge for no real reason. You solve something without knowing how you did it, which is very annoying. Solutions were far too obscure and clumsy to find using existing controls. And then we had the Fibonacci sequence…really? I fear I have unfortunately arrived in ‘The Land of Geek’, woe is me! Frankly, this game is annoying and tedious. The developer may have been in rapturous glee, as he contrived (I doubt a she would have done this), his various abstruse conundrums, thinking all the time that he was far more ‘cunning than thee’. I ended up pressing the clue button again and again, out of bored frustration, usually to find that I’d already tried the solution, and that the controls hadn’t responded quickly enough if at all, even when I had stroked the appropriate area several time. No way as logical and clever as The Room series, or Fire Maple’s games, tedious is the word that comes to mind, and needless to say (but I will), I won’t be buying the follow ons.

Great game series

Bought this game based on others reviews of it being like The Rooms escape. Can happily say I have completed all 3. After I did the first one I couldn’t leave the second or third instalments untouched. They are great games, well done to the developers. I liked the fact there are hint’s available when you really are looking in the wrong place, makes it so much less aggravating. Really enjoyed these and would advise anyone who enjoys escape games to get these. P.s. I will be copying and pasting this review to the other two games in the series too.

I really hated this game

Flawed interface, and some puzzles were unsolvable without external help.

Beautiful but challenging

Only just found this game after playing the room, which I loved. This game is so beautiful but the challenges sometimes felt impossible. Thanks to YouTube walk throughs I managed it! I couldn’t have done it without. I found it very dark and was squinting at my iPad screen a lot. Plus the rooms were too big, so easy to forget where things were. By the end I was exhausted mentally lol but I admit it was really amazing. Not sure I could put myself through the next chapter yet! 😂
