The Recipe Box

No me puedo creer que después de todos estos años, la app siga sin sincronizarse entre dispositivos y que para poderla usar en más de uno, tengas que andarla exportando e importando manualmente a cada dispositivo cada vez que añades o modificas una receta. Que en pleno 2020 y con todos los avances informáticos que hay la app no ofrezca esta función tan básica y útil me parece inaceptable. Es una pena porque de ofrecer esta funcionalidad, sería una muy buena app. Pero esta función es vital para facilitar la vida de los usuarios y es incomprensible que no la ofrezca.

Tras haber probado unas cuantas app de este tipo, sin duda es la más adecuada para el propósito perseguido: lógica y fácil de actualizar, y extraordinariamente bien pensada para usar cuando se está cocinando. Además, permite simultanear entre dos recetas con un solo toque de pantalla ( primer y segundo plato, plato y salsa...)

Buen diseño, flexible y fácil... Si no fuera por lo inestable que es. Otras opciones en la App store son parecidas, y aunque con algo menos de diseño o flexibilidad son totalmente estables.

I used to love this app. My favorite thing about it was the fact that you could enter a recipe into the app and then email it to someone and a link would be in the email that would automatically load that recipe into their recipe box. I have a few different family members that I liked sharing with and they would send recipes to me but without that link it’s just a pain in the behind. Please put the link back in the email.

Been using Recipe Box for many years and love it! Easy to use and great to access on my phone while shopping. I just hope the developer keeps it current. Would hate to lose this app. Although I think my recipes are backed up, can’t imagine how I’d use them without the app interface. Thanks for a a great app!

I’ve used the app for years. I went to add a recipe since updating and there is no way to toggle between source page or functionality to import. I can only copy and paste by switching apps. Very disappointing.

I have had this app for over three years and it remains the best one going. For those who like to ferret out new and interesting ways to prepare food, this should be the go-to app. The instant import feature enables me to add a complete recipe in under 10 seconds. And, the built-in set of recipe websites lets you find just the right one. The list had many sites I never heard of until I used The Recipe Box's site search capabilities. It does not come with lots of built-in recipes. That's not what it is about. It is about easily and efficiently adding the recipes you find into your single source for the food and drink you like. Want to add your own? You can.

After the automatic update all my recipes are gone!
