Great app for permanent weight loss
I bought the book years ago. Unfortunately didn’t buy the CD set at the time, and didn’t actually follow the programme then. So when I went online to find the CD set to buy with my discount, as I’d just begun following the book and couldn’t find the CD it came with, paying a relatively small amount for the app was a no-brainer. I love the app and really feel like it’s working too. I’m enjoying food again, and no longer overeating. I love the little videos explaining the concepts and the nighttime hypnosis is great.
A couple of niggles about the app. I don’t feel I’m getting all the recordings here that were on the CD set, and the programme information is pretty brief, if I hadn’t read the book, I’d likely be a bit lost. I’d still really like the CDs to be available, or at least a download of all the tracks on your website (for a fee). The other issue I had was I’m a busy single mum of a toddler so often don’t get to bed until after midnight. The first night was fine as I’d gone in in the evening and clicked through. Had to then go back and find the hypnosis when I actually went to bed though, which was a bit of a nuisance. Would quite like an X on the pop-up window and not just a button to click through to the next step. The second night was a disaster, I went in to do the evening check in when I went to bed at midnight, and it decided it was the next day and I’d missed a day, even though I’d done all the morning stuff. So it “failed” me for that day and made me do day 2 all over again the next day. Maybe the new day could instead start at the wake up time you enter at the start. Just a suggestion. It was quite disheartening. If I hadn’t been working through the book and already up to day 8 in that one, I may have given up then and there. Another thing is I just did the second or third day and the video’s about quashing harmful cravings, by imagining the barbers floor sweepings mixed with a food I crave. For a start I don’t have any harmful cravings, I just want a bit of liquorice every now and then, I don’t want to never want to eat my favourite foods ever again, and also that is abhorrent, this part really needs to be optional. I skipped that bit in the book. I’m sure it’s a very good technique, just not for me, I spent my entire pregnancy feeling repulsed by my favourite foods and don’t want to ever repeat that.

Needs updating.
At the end of each day my app freezes and won’t let me progress. I have to reboot my iPhone in order to clear the screen. I suspect the app developers have not kept up with the latest versions of IOS but still let customers purchase the app.
Frozen app
This app froze on day 11. The only instructions about how to unfreeze it are available when the app work….. no help at all so I had to wipe the data and start again. 11days later the same thing happened again and once more it isn’t fixable. This is no good at all..
Keeps freezing
App keeps freezing and I have to keep deleting and downloading it again which then resorts in me having to start again from day one ☹️
Really helpful techniques
Love this app, find the video’s motivating. Particularly the panic button and tools to help with cravings.
Well worth downloading - I’m not doing all elements of his plan at the moment but am using the tools to help me keep motivating and on track.
Buggy app
The content seems good but sadly the reviews about the app freezing are accurate. Mine totally froze and stuck on a plain green screen 8 days into a 21 day plan. Restarted the app several times and even hard reset my device but it didn’t help. Bit annoying at £7.99!
