KEY FEATURES
• Your To-Dos
Your basic building block is the almighty To-Do—each a small step toward a great accomplishment. You can add notes, tag it, schedule it, and break it down into smaller steps.
• Your Projects
Create a Project for any big goal, then add the to-dos to reach it. Use headings to structure your list as you outline your plan. There’s also a place to jot down your notes, and a deadline to keep you on schedule.
• Your Areas
Create an Area for each sphere of your life, such as Work, Family, Finance, and so on. This keeps everything neatly organized, and helps you see the big picture as you set your plans in motion.
• Your Plan
Everything on your schedule is neatly laid out in the Today and Upcoming lists, which show your to-dos and calendar events. Each morning, see what you planned for Today and decide what you want to do. The rest is down to you :)

MADE FOR IPAD
Things is tailored to the iPad, with excellent pro features as well. Chief among them is the outstanding support for your keyboard & trackpad. You can edit your to-dos without touching the screen, utilize plenty of shortcuts, and navigate your lists at blistering speed—just start typing!
“Things has the best implementation of external keyboard support I’ve ever seen in an iPad app.”
—Federico Viticci, MacStories
You can also enjoy a beautiful dark mode at sunset, connect your calendars, open multiple windows, add a variety of widgets, scribble with Apple Pencil, create to-dos via Siri, import from Reminders—Things can do it all! There’s even Shortcuts integration if you want to automate your workflows.

AWARD-WINNING DESIGN
Made in Stuttgart, with two Apple Design Awards to its name, Things is a fine example of German engineering: designed not only to look fantastic, but to be perfectly functional as well. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, then polished to perfection.
“It’s like the unicorn of productivity tools: deep enough for serious work, surprisingly easy to use, and gorgeous enough to enjoy staring at.”
—Apple

What I have been looking for!

I don’t usually like to write reviews but this app deserved one ! I have been searching high and Low for a simple app that can allow me to plan and organise my daily todo according to my calendar schedule each day. I also appreciate that The app does not allow you to create events in your calendar yet it allows you to see your daily events and you be able to plan your to do for that day.it is clear and simple which is what I need! The most helpful app ever!

Great app with one small flaw

I like this app very much. Helps me set up and work the tasks systematically and makes great use of the iPad’s interface. The small flaw is the single rather large font that the interface is stuck on. The information per screen is limited by this one design decision. Wish they allowed us to choose different size fonts.

This will be quite a lengthy review. The apps that I’ve used before Things3: Todoist, Anydo, Agenda, Apple’s reminders, Evernote, Wunderlist, Asana, Trello. Why that many? The problem lies with me. I wanted an app to not only be a to-do app with reminder, but also a CRM sales system, and also a project management system. I have been switching around all the above apps and Things3 for nearly a year. Also asking Things3 team why can’t they have the list be integrated into Apple calendar so that I can see the list of things in my calendar. Just recently I decided to stick with Things3, and unlikely to go anywhere else and wait for Things4. I manage to utilise Things3 as a CRM, project management and todo reminders system all in this app. Bought the macOS, iPadOS and iOS altogether. This is really a fantastic app if you know how to properly use it in your work flow. There is a reason why it isn’t integrated into the calendar: To not complicate your daily schedule. We are suppose to begin our day with Things3... look into the things to do today and manage the task daily. Not to clutter it with multiple tasks that we wouldn’t do at the end of the day. The interface, the quick search, the ui/ux, it’s brilliant. Thank you.

Custom snooze duration

You really need to have an option for customizing the snooze duration for the reminders...

Don’t really need to say much

As someone who overly complicated his life to the point of not wanting to do much at all for years this app is a godsend. I got the new iPad Pro 11 inch and this app was one of the very few who has quickly updated, and for that it has made me bother to write a review, and a full five stars at that. This app might cost $15, but it has already brought me more than $1500 of productivity.

Brilliant Improvements

Things 3 closes the gap with OmniFocus without sacrificing its simple UX. Well done!

Things 3 only for iPad?

Wow. How sad. Normally I pay for an app I get it on my iPad and my iPhone. $20 for the iPad and now they want another $10 for the phone. No thanks.

So many good reviews

JsHawkeye on

This app has so many good reviews… i got it on iPad, Mac and iPhone… annoying paying for it on each app. The only one of the apps that updates immediately when I use Siri to input to my inbox is the iPhone. The other 2 apps take a day or two to show apple reminders in the inbox… rendering these ecosystem useless for me.

Great App Lacks a Feature or Two

Zdfhlpo on

I learned the Franklin Covey system many years ago, and as part of that system, tasks are assigned a priority (A, B, or C) and then, within each category a numeric “sequence” (1 thru the number of items in each priority). If Things were to add this feature, I would give it a solid five star review
