THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK

Still struggling with this app after 2hrs

For some reason the software requires the following steps to properly connect and record footage to the SD card. “Connect your device to the camera Wi-Fi as per usual -> open app. Disconnect OR Connect to the camera , (depending on boot up status) . Once the phone / app is disconnected , re-connect to it again and only then will the camera record to the SD Card. Basically, if the camera is connected when the app loads, disconnect. And reconnect again. if the camera is disconnected when the app loads, connect, then disconnect, connect again and disconnect…then it records to the SD card

Ive had the Q1000 for 2 years and never a problem. Now it cant playback videos without the app crashing. Im not the only one with this problem. Yes, i keep all firmware up to date and tried to re-install the app.

Great camera but soft updates made it so it’s literally impossible to use bc it’s wont stay on wifi and always log out in like 1m time and won’t work at all. Only have to use computer. this app is useless.

We have spent over an hour looping to try to register our new dash cam (F200 Pro). We even spoke to the installers and they were unable to help …

Work on set up then after a month it keeps dropping the link every time or just cannot link. Got stuck in a loop telling me there’s “insufficient memory..” Just keeps looping to record mode and gets stuck unable to try to link without restarting. Terrible interface that is REQUIRED! It’s MANDATORY to be able to use this POS device. Cannot update firmware because IT WILL NOT LINK!

Can’t connect live view, has latest update hasn’t resolved issues.

I’m amazed at the e technology of dash cams, the other side of that coin is the application. After a brutal 2hr install my 2 channel setup, I was happy the device works flawlessly. Unfortunately a few times of first use the app started giving me spinning wheels of patience. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro, Live view is not functioning for me. It disconnects randomly. Please Dev, fix the issues.

This is on the very top product of dash cam market, particularly the best for managing the optimization of vehicle battery in parking surveillance. Why not allowed to directly connected to hotspot from dash cam WiFi or router for real time uses, instead with unnecessary and extra app of ThinkwareConnected?
