First, I have bought this app 10 months ago. I was a civ player many years ago from 486 processors. The tutorial was great, funny, well done, but the knowledge of the mechanics needed some board games before to fully understand. TTAges is a work of art and imagination, and in the app we can have a full experience for half or one third of the time of a board game, for 20% of the investment of a paper board. It is like chess. To master takes time, we can get frustrated but it pays off. How could they put such information and components in a small screen and still be understandable is an art on its own. The challenges in the app don’t exist in the physical version and are... challenging. It deserves every euro. Congrats for the developers.

Vlaada is the GOAT.

App has always been amazing but just recently it starting freezing on me frequently. Often when I was ending my turn, it would freeze and I’d be forced to hard reset and re-do my turn. This never happened to me over months of owning the app. I’m wondering if the recent update for “bug fixes” actually caused more problems than they fixed? This was a perfect app before but it is very irritating to play right now. It freezes during pretty much every turn I take.

This is my preferred way to play TTA. We will forego getting the board to the table and just play from our phones.

Through the Ages is one of the best strategic card games out there, challenging and always forcing you to think on your feet. This is a terrific version of that game too, possibly the best board game app on iOS. There’s a lot of game here, and it’s not a casual design at all. But those who want to learn will find it rewarding, and this is a great way to learn.
