I can’t even log into the server. Trash

Still full of bugs

I’ve tried to log into my Disney About and buy tickets for nearly an hour now. I’ve downloaded and reinstalled the app multiple times, updated location settings and definitely used the correct password. However, despite letting me log in and asking which user I am, it won’t let me get past the page where you agree to accept news front Disney. Complete fail.

Standby pass failed.

As far as I can tell, the main reason to have this app is to take advantage of the various passes, but I spent over an hour trying to get standby passes that would then disappear from the app, leaving me pass-less, particularly disappointing when it’s one of the few ways to get into the Rapunzel/Frozen rides. By mid-day, I couldn’t see any standby passes for any rides. When I asked an employee for help, they said that was odd, but they couldn’t help me.

Surprisingly bad considering it’s Disney

App consistently crashes and times out, the user interface is also shockingly poor, very difficult to navigate. If you can avoid downloading, I would.

Difficult to buy tickets

Tried buying a ticket, bank authorised payment then got a blank screen, not much use.

Spent 2 hours trying to buy tickets

Went in person and queued in the longest line only to find out you need to buy a ticket beforehand. No ticket gates like in universal studios. I left. Nightmare. Waste of time. Never going to Disney again. Never buying Disney products again. Will unsubscribe from Disney plus too.

Disney Tokyo app

Unusable. I booked Disney and Disney Sea and can only see a vague reference to the former. I have to leave the app and go back in to navigate to it, and the Booking section shows no bookings at all! Dismal.

Cannot buy tickets

Absolute disaster of an app. Cannot buy tickets. Get to the credit card payment, it does the security check with the bank, and then it comes up with an error. I’ve tried four different cards, one from a Japanese bank, and it’s the same every time. Given that they don’t sell tickets at the gate anymore, Tokyo DisneyLand must be losing a fortune with this shoddy software.

海外旅行者を考慮に入れてない

入園してパークマップを入手しようとしたら、もう印刷していないとのこと。全てアプリで情報が得られると言われた。オッケー、何も問題なし。イギリス在住でイギリスの携帯を持ってる私は,入り口付近でディズニーのFREE Wi-Fiに接続してアプリをダウンロードした。入り口付近から離れるとすぐWi-Fiは途切れてしまう。何とパーク内はWi-Fiは繋がらない。折々係の人からパーク内の情報は得ようとすると、「アプリを見ていただければ分かるように…..」とか、「アプリで……出来ます」とか、尋ねるたびにアプリを頼れと言われてしまう。今までフロリダのディズニーワールドに4、5回程遊びに行ったことがあるが、どのパークでも、園内のどこでも(たまに繋がらないスポットはあるもの)FREE Wi-Fiは利用可能。園内マップが利用不可なためアプリで情報取得しろと言うのは理解出来るが、そのための環境が全く整ってない。大半の日本人客は5G利用が出来るが、海外の旅行者は高額なデータローミングをしたくない人が大半。東京オリンピック後FREE Wi-Fi 可能な場所が増えたと言われているが、この大企業のオリエンタルランドが客にアプリの使用を促しながら、FREE Wi-Fi を園内どこでも可能にしないのは、矛盾している、考慮にかける、unorganised もいいところだ。フロリダのディズニーワールドに比べると、やっぱり日本人向けで海外旅行者への配慮に欠けると思ってしまう。残念だ。

最高すぎる

ディズニーに着くまでお土産を見ることもでき、着いた後もどれくらい混んでいるかが分かるので無くてはないアプリです！！
