This Tokyo Disney app is a full box of rubbish. Trying to use it feels like you're getting sprayed by a squad in Pleasant Park, no matter what you do. The navigation is like getting stuck in a full piece—you can’t get out and it’s just frustrating. The wait times are as bad as getting 200 pumped in a build fight—completely off, and you’re left waiting around like a bot. The map’s about as useful as trying to build in Lazy Lake with no mats. And the food ordering? It’s like trying to heal in a 1v4—you get boxed in and can’t even get a break. Every time you try something, the app just lags out like you're stuck in Risky Reels with no shield. Overall, this app’s a massive L, mate. It’s like playing Fortnite but getting eliminated straight away. Just don’t bother.

People that give it 1 star are not tech savvy and just want to complain about everything. It’s an easy app to navigate. Yes it does rotate but it’s not the end of the world.

This is not a user friendly app. If the goal of the map feature is to confuse and disorient people trying to navigate, then the decision to randomly rotate the map >90 degrees certainly achieves that. The system for purchasing fast passes/area entry is also laggy and full of frustrating bugs. My New Year’s resolution is to never use this app again.

The entire day depends on being able to use this app. It is extremely buggy, constantly showing errors, and the UI is inconsistent and hard to navigate. I would not come back due to the poor performance of this app.

Visitors are not able to access fast pass or Disney Premier prior to entering the park. My family and I woke up early to be in line before the park opened. I was going to try and get one of each kind of ticket. When I got past the entrance, all of the fast passes were already sold or simply did not load on the app. For premier, I had to authenticate my purchase before the transaction would go through and it did not use the Japanese number I have assigned to the account- it wanted to verify through an old out of country number. Needless to say, I did not get any reserved tickets for rides. Now I cannot even enter fantasy springs- because you need either priority or fast pass to enter. Terrible process and app.

It’s good but it’s a lil hard to navigate but other than that it’s good if you could make It navigate like the Disneyland app works it Would be perfect

This app is absolutely terrible. Disney needs to hire some competent IT folks who can make a user friendly app. This version is not at all intuitive and it’s more challenging because cell service often drops while in rides and experiences, forcing the user to restart the app. An international corporation of Disney’s caliber should be ashamed the app is so not user friendly.

I have been a huge Disney fan since I was young and have been to many of its parks around the world multiple times. I have heard great things about the Tokyo Disneyland resorts, but I have to say that this app completely ruined my experience and I don’t ever want to go back to any of the Disney resorts. First time to DisneySea in Tokyo and it has been a nightmare from trying to purchase advance tickets to trying to book any of the rides or restaurants. It is not friendly to non-Japanese visitors and doesn’t seem to accept most foreign credit cards. We couldn’t buy the park tickets after trying multiple credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay etc) and my sister tried as well. We ended up having to buy the tickets through a third party. We got to the park early so that we can get the standby pass as well as priority pass. We researched the various strategies but everything went down the drain because the app just would not work!! We were willing to pay for the premium pass to go to the new Fantasy Springs, and when we arrived there were still standby passes left for Rapunzel (one of the new popular rides), but the app just kept returning all sorts of error and would keep timing out. It’s probably because many people are trying to book the passes in the park at the same time, but you would think that Disney would know that everyone would do so when the park first opens, yet it cannot handle the traffic. The app just stops responding or returning errors. We ended up having to go to guest relations to purchase the premium pass but by then almost everything has been sold out. Of course by then we also missed the benefits of getting there early and have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for each ride. If Disney is forcing us to use the app, then at least try to make it a little friendlier so that we can actually enjoy the park experience. We are trying to spend money here!! But I know they don’t care since people will continue to go regardless.

I’m having issues updating the recent app. It won’t update and since arriving to Japan mere hours away, I am starting to stress.
