TomTom AmiGo - Speed Cameras

The app has an easy to use interface and is pleasing to the eye. Once in motion, the app is easy to read. Unfortunately, the reference data the app uses (at least for South Africa) is considerably out of date. The searches sometimes give ridiculous results. A large retailer relocated 8 months ago. The app still only finds the old location. I searched for my employer (a large automotive manufacture). The app didn’t list it at all, and the first result was a retailer that sells our products 299 km away, even though there is a retailer 5km away from me. I did compare these results with other navigation apps and they completed the above searchers correctly. I cannot recommend this app.

I have had several TomToms which eventually died on me. I needed one to travel overseas with and did some Googling. I came across Amigo by accident and installed it and was amazed to see that it is not country specific and easily found any place I asked for in any country. I look forward to trying it out during my future travels.

For a free online GPS, I willingly give a rating of 5 out of 5. Very neat, clear and well organised user interface. A great joy to use. Detailed maps. Clear voice directions. Has spoken street names which even Google Maps seems not to provide in my area.

A really neat GPS. Looks great & works well. Could be better if it supported CarPlay. ESP for the speed limits. Please develop CarPlay as it has too many competitors that do.

Geschwindigkeit bei viele Straßen stimmt nicht über ein. Bei manche Straßen steht 70, aber bei TomTom 100km/st

Update: Navigation leitet auf Straßen, die gesperrt sind. Meistens handelt es sich um kleine Nebenstraßen

Wenn ich die Anwendung öffne, erhalte ich einen solchen Bildschirm und die Navigation funktioniert nicht
