ToSee - Smart Camera

I love the Eken doorbells - they have good value, build and look cool. But the ToSee mobile app is not good and under developed. The main problem is when opening the app, it takes to long for the video to appear. Sometimes when the doorbell rings, I don’t get an alert. There should be more control over alerts and notifications when someone rings the doorbell, and a different alert for motion detection. My Eken came with no Cloud ability. They should integrate a way for me to connect my camera drive to Google for backup storage. Also, mine has no security alarm if it’s being stolen or taken off it’s mount. But the product works really well and does the job for a good price.

You make bug fixes, but in the end, you push in app advertisements! Now that the person is ringing the bell when I have to look at the camera, it has to wait between one minute and two minutes. Chances are that person won't be on the other side. Hoping for a new update, without publishing.

Do not buy or download this app or buy any cameras that uses this app it is absolutely the worst app with their ads which bothers you every time you try to look at something

Have had this for several years. Works fine but make sure you edit all settings as defaults can make camera motion pickup too sensitive, etc. Took a while to get sensitivity set so camera wasn’t going off every few minutes. Batteries are not a standard size, so you’ll have to eBay /Amazon those. Playback never works once batteries are replaced, you have to reformat the SD card. Reformatting of internal SD card is also needed randomly to get playback to work. Otherwise the picture on this camera is very good.

The app works … not consistently but enough to get a quick peek at my ducks out in the yard. HOWEVER, the ads are killing it! Are you serious!? Get rid of the ads please! It’s so frustrating! Or bring an option to pay to remove the ads. They do get in the way when you want to quickly start the broadcast.

Camera not connecting to wifi anymore.

I have been having this camera for at least three years and now it’s not working it’s just have a circle like it’s trying to connect but it’s not connecting not sure if they did an update or not
