A lesson in poor user design
Take an app that was functional, useful, intuitive and fun to use and turn it into a total mess. Well that’s what’s happened with the tour app 2023. Just awful.
Hard to check stages
For some reason the 2023 app has the stages and maps hidden off of the main screen. This does not bode well

Where is the TDF Femmes then? Thank god for the SBS app.
App no longer works, after latest update
Update on a July 13 has broken the app. Flickering white screen, with grey boxes where the info should be.
Seriously?
Each year the TDF app gets more crowded and less useful. This year there doesn't even seem to be a simple description of each stage! Unless of course it's part of the "official briefing" but you only get to read that if you join some kind of TDF club. Come on guys, this used to be a really good app. What we want is details of the stage including profile and map and description. And of course results by stage and overall. And details of riders and teams. All the other stuff like strava connections are just add ons and mostly useless.
Appalling user experience
I’m not sure how they have managed it but the 2022 TDF app is appalling. Last year it was exceptional. I’m not sure how somebody/someone could get it so wrong, but they have. Don’t bother with this, it’s a joke. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
I’m missing the tour
I’m missing the tour because I can’t work this new ‘improved’ app out. It’s missing the best bits of the old. Don’t fix things that aren’t broken. 😩🚴♂️
Ruined an amazing app
Why have you changed this app from what was an amazing product. You have to scroll through the results to find followed favorite riders. Or search again. The app used to save a list of the followed riders. I can’t see the profile of the stage for more than a few seconds. Get rid of this junk app and just use the 2021 platform.
Dreadful
Last year’s was pretty well perfect but this useless. Cant look up riders except by team, map limited to stage so cant zoom in/out, navigation is awful.
