TrainPal is easy to use and throws up fastest and cheapest routes. Very satisfied!

Every time close or minimise the app, my screen brightness reduces to approx 25%. It’s happened on 2 different iPhones with different versions of the OS.

I bought open return on this app and I got same day return. Lost the money and 2 hours ,as their customer service is so convoluted, to find out that I can’t get any refund so I will just buy directly from train company. Also despite the promotion I have not gotten any discount or coupon in the last 4-5 months. Used for the electronic ticket but now it wastes my money so no. Thank you.

They didn’t tell me about the refund process I payed £8.10 and only got £3.66 back this is a joke I was ill so I couldn’t travel and now they won’t let me upload saying i was ill I will never be using this ever again

Impossible to get a refund, gives an abysmal list (3) of reasons as to why you need a refund. Even though I have a good reason, with proof (who cares if you need proof just give me my money back). Really loved using this app for ages but they have no customer care, just a money grabbing soulless corporation now. Will be using trainline from now on.

Really bad handling process. Exchangeable tickets could not be exchanged. A refund means 10 pounds booking fee. Horrible app. I’d spend a few pounds more in other app rather than using this bot-backed-customer-service app.

Used to be a good app but something has changed. Now it’s a bit like Temu or AliExpress where they are constantly trying to upsell you with gimmicks. The receipts format has changed to something appalling with incorrect information and again spam all over the email. As soon as I can find an alternative I will spend my credits and delete the app. You just have to look at the copy and paste replies to every feedback review to see this company is at the brink of failure. So sad.

TrainPal on the surface appears like a decent alternative option to Trainline. However their customer service is appalling and they never accept responsibility for any issues they have created, including cancellation of your tickets and sending your contact details to other customers. My experience with them has led to me deleting their app after getting nowhere with my complaints. Be wise, don’t use them and find another option.

As much as I like the idea, the app looks more difficult to navigate than it’s competitor Trainline. Furthermore, I was trying to buy some open return ticket between London and Stansted Airport. The only option I could get from the app under “open return” was a day return instead of a ticket that would be valid for a month for return. Apart from this, it looks promising and hopefully soon I would be able to give you more stars.
