TripCase

Been happily using this app for a number of years but now it freezes every time I try to Share details as per the instructions. Tried all the faq’s with no success. Very frustrating so I’m going to try a different app.

Used to be great, but won’t give available seat information, says that there developers are working on it. Been like that for months.

Love this app and have been using it for years but I have one problem in the last two years. Every time I enter information into a Note and save the following appears several times.

I was sent an email saying my flight was on time. The flight had been delayed by 45 mins. And the notification from the airline had actually been sent 4 hrs before. I missed that and instead only saw the misleading one from trip case.

TripCase listed incorrect arrival date ( did not update from departure date on overnight flight). Subsequent bookings were then incorrect. Major issue

This app used to be good. Nowadays flight delays change of gates arrive hours late.

TripCase is mostly good and very handy. However, the flight times of a recent trip is displayed incorrectly even after importing 3 times. There is now at to report this to TripCase

Trips are to be emailed to TripCase and they enter them into the app. What does this achieve? I can just look it up on my email and put it in my calendar. The app missed two legs of my trip and didn’t included the booking reference. Doesn’t feel very secure.

This is a useful travel app. However, there are some (many?) limitations. It doesn’t render the trip details on an iPad very well (eg the number of characters per line is limited to the window width, and there’s no landscape mode). On a PC, printing the trip details chops off long(er) details. Also, it’s very US-centric - entering addresses etc is challenging in Japan.

I used to travel alot for work and I found this app very useful. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. 9 times out of 10 when I forward an itinerary I get an email saying it couldn't be read and is in my inbox. These are often itineraries from hotels or car rental that used to work. Now it rarely detects a hotel booking, and when I try to add it manually, the results are laughable. For example, I regularly stay at Mantra Mackay Harbour. It's the only hotel in Mackay Harbour, but when I try to add it, even though I put Mackay Harbour as the suburb, it will show me 20-30 hotels in Mackay before it comes up. This happens even of I put Mantra in as well. This has made it what used to be a huge time saver, to now being something I can't trust.
