Turo — Car rental marketplace

Creo que es la mejor y más económica opción , me encantó ! Muy profesional todo, mil veces volvería a arrendar con turo. Esta fue mi primera vez en Los Ángeles, la próxima será en otro lugar del mundo.

I had the bad idea to use this app to rent a car. I received a Jeep Grand Cherokee in the morning, the company that rented the car (CARSAN) didnt show me the car in detail, just handle me the keys and leave. After just a few hours I tooked the car, and obviously being 100% sure that nothing happend during this short period of time, I realize that the car had some damage in the hood, doors and windshield so I wrote the host through the app and advise him that I tooked pictures of the damages, they said thank you. At the return, another employee received the car, I told him about the previous documented damage and he said it was Ok. The day after I received a mesagge saying that I had to pay for the damage, I explain that the damage was there before, even visible in some very low quality pictures that they took before the trip, but they refuse to accept it, so they passed me to Turo claims area. I thought they will manage my case seriously, but instead, they just say, in nice words, thay I have to pay for the front windshield and a minor dent on the side, both repairs for usd2600!!!. This is unacceptable, I have strong evidence that I didnt do the damage, and they say that the pictures before dont show it, but, this pictures are taken far from the car and with bad quality, so bad, that you cant even read the model of the car in the side pictures, and even in this conditions the pictures showed the damage and tbey refuse to accept it. In many many years renting cars I havent been treated like this before, so disapointed of the whole process. Hope this info help someone to avoid a very bad expience.

La ocupé para Austin, Tx anduvo excelente, es sumamente confiable y cómoda, durante 11 días estuve usando la aplicación, el auto que escogí excelente estado, la comunicación entre Alissa la anfitriona estuvo muy bien, full recomiendo esta app y turistea en EEUU a tu ritmo ;)

Gran aplicación

Arrendé un auto con la aplicación al cual se le echo a perder el motor. Para solucionarlo Turo me dio la opción de darme otro auto, el cual estaba en otro estado, por lo que yo debía pagar todos los inconvenientes que sería ir a buscar el nuevo auto, perdí mucha plata (perdí la noche en mi hotel, tuve que arrendar una nueva pieza, perdí un parque nacional, tuve que comprar pasajes en bus y pagar por un taxi) todo eso sin que Turo me diera ninguna recompensa por todo el mal rato que tuve y todas las cosas extras que tuve que pagar por un problema de sus autos. Además de perder todo el día tratando de solucionar un problema y que no me dieran ninguna solución válida al problema que tenía. El auto NO tenía la mantención al día, NO tenía los papeles y Turo no hizo ninguna revisión de entregar un auto que este en buenas condiciones para el cliente. Impresionante el mal al servicio al cliente, haciendo tratos que después no cumple. I rented a car with the app and the engine had a problem. To solve it, Turo gave me the option of giving me another car, which was in another state, so I had to pay all the inconvenience that would be going to get the new car, I lost a lot of money (I lost the night in my hotel, I had to rent a new room, I lost a national park, I had to buy bus tickets and pay for a taxi) all this without Turo giving me any reward for all the hard time I had and all the extra things I had to pay for a problem of their cars . In addition to wasting the whole day trying to solve a problem and they do not give me any valid solution to the problem I had. The car did NOT have up-to-date maintenance, it did NOT have the papers and Turo did not do any checks to deliver a car in good condition for the client. Impressive bad customer service, making deals that then does not follow through.

I have tried all before, all the classic companies, the apps etc, they all still your money, use your credit cards with no permission. Turo is a great experience! Never go back to the old school car rental companies.
