A bit skeptical when making first booking, but ended up positively surprised. Don’t know what would happen if there were a problem, but didn’t have any, so…. Quality host though.

Never tried private rental before but it has been a very positive experience. Turo is with you every step and with the Turo app they Connect you with car owner in a positive and reliable Way so you wont get lost. Will definetly ude Turo again.

Turo a perfect alternative to regular car rental. With the same safe feeling as Airbnb and Uber gives you. The support team of Turo is great if you ever get to need it.

Used Turo on a 3 weeks trip to LA. It couldn’t have run smoother. Definitely going to use it again

Good people and no hidden fees. As it should be

We got a flat tire, and the service from Turo with Roadside Assistance was very very bad and disappointing! We waited more than 6 hours despite Turo said the the Roadside Assistance were on its way. We called Turo several times, and we were just told that the Roadside Assistance were on its way every time. We asked if we could contact the company of Roadside Assistance directly. That was not an option we were told. After waiting 5 hours we tried the urgent call from one of the e mails from Turo. That was a number directly to the company of Roadside Assistance. Then we asked the company to come and help us. 30 minutes later they arrived. So the support from Turo was horrible! As we arrived very late to the mechanic we could not get a new tire the same Day. As we were travellers we had to book a new hotel (in Kamloops) and were still paying for the pre booked hotel at Jasper. If we could have had the Roadside Assistance earlier we would have a new tire the same Day, and we wouldn't have had to pay for two hotels. In our opinion we meant that this was Turo's fault, so we tried to get some reimbursement for the extra hotel. Turo just said no, and after a few more e-mail gave up, as they weren't helpful at all. So - the concept of Turo is excellent. But if anything happens on the road... Don't contact Turo! From a travellers perspective I don't think I will use Turo again. You are not protected and they are not helpful if anything happens at the road. But the concept is great, and the prices is better than Hertz or Avis etc. Maybe Turo could make a traveller insurance, which could protect travellers in a better way. That would be my best advice to Turo. - Martin

This app and operations would be tremendous, if any would have the idea to actually calculate the final price upon booking, and NOT at the checkout. (With insane fee’s it seems possible to spend a dime researching this. It is almost like buying something in Mexico.
