This app is full with bug, it surprises me that development team doesn’t even care to run basic tests before releasing the app. The major issue being files are being recorded with weird future timestamp and I can’t do anything to fix it.

Audi should test and fix bugs before releasing to market. I tried to report to Audi, but I could not find out the proper place. if you click app developers, it takes you to the Audi main site. I have the latest version of dashcam firmware and latest version of this app as of July 2024 Bugs - 1. If you try to use live view or car finder, it overrides the date and time of dash cam and it takes the wrong date in future. All names of files and overlay time will be wrong. 2. It seems it picks timezone by country name not by GPS. In US it always picks eastern time zone.

App has NEVER worked for me in the 2 years I’ve had the cameras. Cannot get it to connect to WiFi, plus every time I open it, it says there is a firmware update (which goes nowhere when I try to update). The dealer was unable to help me and couldn’t have cared less to help anyway, so I’m stuck with a worthless, junk app and an extremely costly camera that *maybe* records events that I can’t view!

The app is super buggy and lacks serious testing before releasing out to the customers. There are lot of bugs with the app and app with such issues shouldn't be launched to the market.

It’s just not worth the money. Go with another traffic cam.

After instaling last version 2.70 the dash cam in not connecting to phone.

The one review here is seriously unfair, I think. Although the instructions for set up aren’t as clear as they should be, If they are followed (with the exception of putting iPhone in Aircraft mode, this will Not Work! Just make sure your phone is fully charged before starting the process), setup and firmware update goes without a problem. The features in the app work as appropriate, and has a number of features that most third party traffic cams lack. Am fully satisfied to this point, and given the cost, this is a good thing.

Please make all the downloaded videos go to an album on your iPhone. I have to screen record or take out the sd card to get my file it is archaic

Like others have mentioned in their reviews, I expect something significantly better from a brand like Audi. The software is pretty garbage. It's impossible to connect to the camera over WiFi because your phone will just switch back to the car's WiFi. The only way I've been able to get around this is to make my phone forget my car's WiFi network. But thankfully, the VLC Player can read the AVI files on the SD card so I can still get the front and rear videos (they're separate tracks in the same file)

The camera itself is pretty good overall for front and rear however the interaction with the app is terrible. Unable to upload and it only saves to the app not the phone itself.
