Unlocator VPN

Had this VPN for years and it worked fine most of the time, but recently it has become pretty much unusable. Half of the locations time out and the other half is super slow. I’m switching to a different VPN!

Now I have to run this from the desktop? What happened to the menu item? I know it was a bit buggy, but are you saying you couldn't fix it? Or was it a design choice? I rather have the choise!

This is one of the few good ones out there. connection time is instant, and connection speeds are pretty wild. I'm getting 200Mbps , and I leave it on for days on end.

2023 Update - whoever was involved in the improvements UnlocatorVPN has made over the past 6 months needs a raise. Works perfectly now and have no issues connecting or disconnecting if needed. Traveling between countries (US, Korea, Japan, Philippines) without VPN issues is simply awesome! Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone traveling abroad. 5* 2021- Just purchased 2 year plan. Had no problems for the first hour. Tried to add it to my other devices and was unsuccessful. Turned off my iPhone and iPad (which were running fine) to see if there was any issues with them being on at the same time and now I can’t connect at all. It says to check my Internet connection. Still trying but feels like a complete waste of $120.

I used a great discounted subscription and glad I took it. I like that it comes with smart DNS too. And good support, had a hitch and they actively worked to resolve quickly.

VPN connection is pretty fast. I leave it on for days on end, without ever noticing a drop in speed.

Really? I paid 10 dollars just so I could wrestle with the app not even recognizing that I have an email account connected to my subscription? How is this service so primitive that I couldn’t even get to that point? Don’t waste your time/money. Website for support doesn’t work at all, nobody can help, reviews are artificial and useless.

1) slowest VPN ever used, can take up to half a minute to load simple pages that take a split second when not connected 2) torrent client (an issue with almost no other VPNs) can’t download at all 3) they say their DNS thing bypasses blackouts like MLB, not true 4) customer support takes many days (average 2-3) for a simple response

Cancelled my service because their DNS always fails on weekends so I can’t use any streaming services. I switched to another provider. After cancelling, and when my subscription ended, I started to get “come back” emails with discount codes. Then, suddenly, I get billed again out of nowhere for another year. I had deleted my card info and they still kept it, apparently. I asked to cancel and refund per their policy, and received no response for 4 days. When I started a chargeback with Amex, they wrote to tell me they’d only refund if I stopped the chargeback. Beware, they’re are shady.
