VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO

Just purchased my first VELUX product with blackout window shades and it was so easy to set up!!!

Thank goodness this works great. Keep it up and strong. Love it a lot. Want to get more installed. Great service if I ever need it and the best serviced ever.

Almost all commands to the blinds take forever to trigger with a rolling wheel and there is a huge bug with automations: when blind closure is set to 80%, they actually close to 100% when automatic dawn/dusk opening /closing are scheduled. I got condensation dripping on my furniture and my hardwood floor because of that!

I’m really enjoying the app to close and open my skylights.

I have two Velux Skylights and one Solar Tube.all three units operate flawlessly. I had an issue with my installers and I called the Velux office and they were able to address my problem. If I decide on installing another unit Velux Skylights will be my only choice.

I am considering returning my VELUX App Control unit because the App itself doesn’t do the main thing I bought it for: To have it close my skylights automatically after a few hours . The remote on my wall and the app, only give you 60 minutes max to automatically close the skylights. Who opens their window on a nice day and wants to close it after 60 minutes I can’t open my skylights and go to bed and have them close automatically after a few hours. I want my skylights to close on my schedule, not on the apps schedule.

I have had these skylights for about 7 years and they have always worked great!

Need more than maximum 90 minutes choice from sunset or sunrise I saw the battery info on solar blinds display once and I don’t know how/why, but that’s a great feature - don’t hide it! Show it all the time or let me choose to display it or not. So glad to have scheduled automations! HOWEVER, need the ability to turn on/off all automations with a single click. I’m talking about one toggle globally, not just the one toggle locally to each individual automation. For those of us with multiple automations a day and multiple velux products, turning them all on or off can be a real pain! On the main screen it would be nice if the group icon changed to match the status of the blinds in the group - if all are closed, show the closed blind icon instead of always showing the open blind icon.

Like the control when set up with sensors. Linked with Apple home and Siri which was great but recently stopped working g for no particular reason
